Le Duy: Almost died after transgender, marriage broke down, husband was in prison, U50 was rescued by shark Lien

Although he has been transgender for 15 years, up to now, singer Le Duy's papers still say "male gender" with the name of his birth father and mother: Nguyen Truong Duy.

Grandmother wants to leave, doesn't know father's face

Le Duy was born in a very special situation. Le Duy's mother is the lady of a rich and powerful family in Tay Ninh. She fell in love with a very poor Hue provincial singer. The relationship was strongly opposed by the family. But the more the family forbids, the more they love each other. And the crystallization of that love is a fetus in the womb.

When she learned that her daughter was pregnant, her grandmother locked Le Duy's mother in the house, assigned her trusted maid to guard her so that she could take her to Saigon early the next day to catch the baby in her belly. Le Duy's mother ran away and waited for the day to give birth. That child is Le Duy.

The child was not recognized by the maternal family, and Le Duy's parents discussed taking the child to his grandfather's house in Hue. Overcoming many difficulties to come together, but only 2, 3 years later, Le Duy's parents broke up. Le Duy followed his mother to Saigon, not even remembering his father's face. Since then, Le Duy lost contact with his grandfather's family until more than a decade later.

The day he returned to Hue to find his grandfather's house, Le Duy just heard that, in the past, because of his family's sadness, his father went to the army and died in battle.

Infection, almost died when transgender

From a young age, Le Duy knew that he was a third sex, but because he was afraid of people's disdain, he hid it. Around the time Le Duy worked as a makeup artist in Hanoi and had a very beautiful love affair with a real son. Suddenly, he went to get married.

At this time, Le Duy injected female hormones. The desire to be a girl rose more and more. So during the day, Le Duy wears boy's clothes, in the evening puts on mascara, puts on makeup, wears girl's clothes, and wears wigs to the disco.

Here, Le Duy met a guy and followed him back to the hotel. When he discovered that Le Duy was a boy, he threw open the door and ran away. This story made Le Duy heartbroken and determined to go to Thailand to find his "true self". That year, Le Duy was over 30 years old.

After the major transgender surgery, Le Duy returned to Vietnam in a state of unhealed incision and extreme physical pain. Due to lack of care, the incision became infected, and Le Duy almost died. Fortunately, she was taken care of by a gynecologist, so after half a month she recovered.

Thought that when she became a girl, Le Duy would have happiness, but the journey to find and hold happiness in her hands is not so easy. You have to go through many storms...

2 broken feelings: crying while eating, crying while sleeping

After transgender, Le Duy met and fell in love with a son in Hai Duong and was brought by the groom's family to ask for a bride. Le Duy's wedding that year caused a traffic jam in the neighborhood. People are curious to see how the transgender bride is, and Le Duy, sitting in the car to bring the bride back to Hai Duong, still thinks she is dreaming!

But happiness is too fragile. During the most beautiful marriage, Le Duy lost everything. Just two months after the wedding, her husband went to prison for a sentence before they knew each other. Her husband was sentenced to 6 years in prison. "The whole sky seemed to collapse on me," Le Duy recalled.

In the first 2 years, Le Duy still regularly visited her husband and did not think about others until he met TH Anh, 13 years younger than Le Duy, from Hai Phong. The two met through a friend and developed feelings through eating together and chatting.

When H asked to love him, Le Duy did not accept even though he had feelings for him. But H patiently waited for Le Duy to stop feeling guilty and self-deprecating to make it public.

When he heard about it, his family was shocked, and his friends also objected to their love story. Even Le Duy's family doubted his son-in-law. They were afraid that he did not truly love Le Duy.

Overcoming everything, they come together. From the day she lived with H, Le Duy almost temporarily put aside the famous make-up profession in Hanoi and rarely sang, she retired to work as a housewife and support her husband to develop his career.

Because I think, fame is not important, family, this man is really the most important thing that a woman like her needs.

But when family, friends and the whole society have "loved their love", that happiness is gone. After 10 years of living together, H suddenly demanded a breakup. Only 4 months later, he was married to another girl. This shock caused Le Duy so much pain, that she once said "I feel like I've lost a part of my body".

Le Duy once said: "That night, I was drinking coffee with my friend, when Mr. H texted him to say goodbye. The next morning, he rented a car to clean up. I was struggling in the middle of a large Saigon, but in my hands. no rent at all.

I had to go back to my mother's house, so depressed that I cried every day. 2 months after breaking up with Mr. H, I'm like a crazy person. Crying while sleeping. Crying while walking. Crying while eating. Just thinking about him makes me cry. My mother also fell ill because she saw her child breaking down."

After the struggle of being abandoned, I think I can't keep crying like this, I have to stand up, live happily and happily. Le Duy motivates himself "when the charm is gathered, when the charm is exhausted" to be able to move on.

U50, don't expect too much in love

Le Duy started from zero. She alone struggled to make a living by making-up and singing again despite facing many difficulties because Le Duy almost withdrew from showbiz for 5 years.

Seeing that Le Duy was sad because of emotional breakdown and economic difficulties, Lien shark asked her to come to the house. Currently, at the age of U50, Le Duy's work and life are stable.
