During the investigation, the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) identified a complex business network, run by Waranthaphon and 16 partners, involving various forms of unlicensed businesses and illegal financial operations. The defendants were all known as “kingpins” of the system, with roles as leaders of online marketing groups and creating investment systems that appeared legitimate but lacked control and transparency.

According to investigators, from August 2020 to August 2024, the group set up an unlicensed online sales network, in which they lured many people to participate in risky investment programs and promised high profits. However, instead of getting the promised profits, thousands of participants lost money in unclear and illegal transactions. These actions led to the authorities having to intervene and conduct investigations, clarifying the suspects' criminal acts.

This case not only shocked the business world but also had a strong impact on the Thai entertainment industry. Sam Yuranunt and Min Pechaya are two very popular stars, and their involvement in such a big scandal has disappointed many fans and the public. Although they were cleared and released, their image in the public eye was still severely affected.
