Lan Nhung's full name is Do Vu Lan Nhung, born in 1994 in Hanoi, is a relatively new face in the Vietnamese music industry, especially the classical chamber genre. With a modern musical mindset and a vocal technical foundation well-trained in Europe, Lan Nhung is full of excitement and confidence on the path to conquering the audience with her talent.

It is known that Do Vu Lan Nhung was once an outstanding student at the Vietnam National Academy of Music. In 2016, while a vocal student, Lan Nhung received a full scholarship under the Agreement between the Romanian and Vietnamese Governments for excellent students to study abroad at Bucharest National University of Music, Romania majored in Vocal Performance (Performance Opera) and graduated with honors from this prestigious school (2021).

During the 2018-2019 period, Do Vu Lan Nhung was a Solist at the Italian Cultural Institute in Bucharest. She performed Solo with the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra in Bucharest, Romania in 2019. In addition, the female singer regularly participates in art shows organized by the Vietnamese Embassy in Romania.

In October 2022, the female singer was admitted to graduate school majoring in Music Performance (Vocal Music) at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music with the valedictorian position and perfect scores. Currently, she is teaching vocal music at Ho Chi Minh City College of Culture and Arts.

On May 20, 2023, planning to carry out the music night more than a year ago, with very thoughtful preparation, Do Vu Lan Nhung excitedly waited for the opening moment of the live show Les Chansons de Rose at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music.

The Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music auditorium was filled with spectators even though Saigon's sudden rain poured down a few minutes before opening time. However, it seems to be a "habit" of Saigon's weather, so the audience is still busy coming to watch, so the organizers decided to delay the opening time to wait.

Because it was the "introductory" music night, Lan Nhung showed off all her strengths, which is a colorful soprano voice, skillful vocal techniques, and extremely delicate and sometimes soft song handling. Soaring, when strong and dramatic, very impressive.

This is also considered a music night to "report" the results after many years of training in Romania for the female singer. Therefore, in the audience, it is indispensable for teachers (such as Meritorious Artist Phan Thu Lan, Meritorious Artist Anh Tuyet,...) - those who have taught and guided her from her first steps into the singing profession. . Family is also indispensable, including mothers, aunts and uncles who flew in from Hai Duong.

Lan Nhung's live show includes Vietnamese songs and musical excerpts, as well as famous classical arias. With a skilled technical background and practical experiences, the female singer has brought the audience into multi-dimensional emotional realms. That singing is sometimes sweet and clear like dew drops, sometimes strong and surging like ocean waves.

In early 2024, Do Vu Lan Nhung became one of the young faces named at the Ceremony honoring "Outstanding artists and some outstanding books in the field of Performing Arts and Literature in 2023" hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, took place on the evening of January 13 at the Bac Giang Provincial Convention Center.

Sharing about his feelings when receiving the award, the chamber singer born in 1994 said that this is a boundless honor. She added: "2023 is a year with memorable milestones for me. In May, I held the first live show in my professional singing career called Les Chansons de Rose in Ho Chi Minh City, marking the debuted to domestic audiences after nearly 6 years studying abroad in classical opera in Rumania.

In December, I won first prize in the national Chamber - Musical - Choir singing competition. Through that, my voice became known to more people and I had more opportunities to perform. Achievements in the competition are the factors that help me be present in the Ceremony of Honoring Outstanding Artists in 2023.
