Old age, sickness, no children

Besides a successful career, Kim Sieu Quan also has a happy life with his wife for 30 years. His wife is Tran Ky - the actress who plays Bang Phi in the movie Bao Thanh Thien. The two have known each other since childhood, bonded and came together despite family objections.

However, having been together for 3 decades, the two still do not have a child. However, Kim Sieu Quan believes that children are fate, if not, it is okay, he himself has never thought of adopting or getting a divorce because of this.

"Many people also say that I should divorce or adopt children, but this is everyone's destiny. Children are fate, I am content with what I have. I am not afraid of living alone without children." , he shared.

At the age of U70, Kim Sieu Quan has almost completely withdrawn from the entertainment industry. The reason is because of his advanced age, he has to fight many diseases that make the veteran actor's health weaken.

It is known that since 2000, Kim Sieu Quan has had to live with many incurable diseases such as diabetes, blood pressure and heart disease. He often suffers from sleep apnea, requiring help breathing.

"In the past, I tried to be fat to play the role of Bao Cong. Later, because of being fat, I suffered from many diseases and could not lose weight," he revealed.

In 2016, during a performance in Thailand, Kim Sieu Quan suddenly couldn't remember the lyrics of the song in the movie "Bao Thanh Thien" even though he had sung it thousands of times before. When he went to the hospital to check, he received the results that he had a brain tumor.

The actor has many dangerous diseases such as diabetes, blood pressure, heart disease, brain tumor.

The evil disease caused Kim Sieu Quan to almost die 3 times. In the end, he decided to gamble with death to surgically remove a 10cm tumor from his brain.

Before the surgery, because he was worried about his own misfortune, he even wrote a will to leave his wife the entire estate. Not only that, he also told her to find a good man to entrust her life with if he unfortunately passed away early.

Fortunately, Kim Sieu Quan's surgery went smoothly and successfully. However, the major surgery also made his health not as good as before.
