Khanh Thi was born and raised in an artistic family. Her parents are both artists of the General Political Department Art Troupe. Therefore, from an early age, Khanh Thi was exposed to dance. However, after becoming a professional dancer, in 2000, she gave up and combined dance partner with Chi Anh in dancesport.

During the 5 years both of them studied abroad, they continuously trained to participate in competitions. By the time she returned home, Khanh Thi - Chi Anh were the "golden couple" of Vietnamese dance sports. Some of the awards that this female dancesport grandmaster has achieved are: 3 times national championship, top 10 Asian championships, top 4 at SEA Games 24.

In addition to her main job, she is also a consultant for many famous talent-seeking gameshows in Vietnam such as Universal Dance, Challenge with the Dance (So You Think You Can Dance). The female artist has been awarded the third-class Labor Medal by the state for her useful contributions to the country's art and is currently the director of a dance training center in Ho Chi Minh City.

In the past, Khanh Thi and her dance partner Chi Anh were a couple of "talented boys and girls" of the dancesport village, they had a long time together everywhere. However, in 2009, the female grandmaster was born in 1982 and her boyfriend officially "went their separate ways" and entered Ho Chi Minh City to establish a career. Here, she met a new dance partner, and a student 11 years younger than her - Phan Hien (born in 1993).

It is known that Phan Hien followed Khanh Thi to learn dancesport when he was only 16-17 years old. After many years, the two became better and better and became each other's dance partners. The excellent couple won the national championship and also won 2 Asian gold medals. During the working process, Khanh Thi and his students soon developed feelings for each other.

However, there was a time when she and Phan Hien broke up because of many difficulties in the age gap. At that time, Khanh Thi was once entangled in rumors of one-sided love with director Quang Dung. Later, the Vietnamese female dancesport grandmaster reunited with Phan Hien again.

At the end of 2014, Khanh Thi suddenly revealed to the public that she was pregnant with her first son but did not reveal the identity of the child's father. However, the images of Khanh Thi - Phan Hien wearing bride and groom costumes were suddenly revealed that year, causing many people to suspect that the two had "returned to the same house".

After a while, Khanh Thi officially admitted her love story with a dance partner 11 years younger than her and began to be more open about her private life and feelings.

In July 2015, Khanh Thi officially gave birth to her first child and gave the boy a friendly name at home, Kubi. The man who was always beside her at that time until now was none other than Phan Hien. After publicizing their love, the couple is currently living happily together in Ho Chi Minh City with the husband's family.

In June 2018, Khanh Thi gave birth to a second daughter for Phan Hien. Khanh Thi's relatives added that during her pregnancy, she had a lot of morning sickness, so it was difficult to eat and sleep. In addition, due to pregnancy at the age of 37, she was prescribed by the doctor to perform many tests to ensure the safety of the fetus's health. So many times when I go to the floor to practice, I say, "Did you eat anything?" but when he went home, lying on the bed reminded him to do this and that. It was at that time that my husband and I had a conflict.

To tell the truth, the art of being a wife and husband still needs to be learned. Up to now, I have drawn an experience that if I want my husband to be good and compete, I have to find another coach to train for me. That's why I invited the world champion couple to directly teach Hien and Huong. And I completely stand behind as a manager, giving the exam schedule, syllabus and giving all the requirements for the coach to do everything for me.
