Jenny Huynh and Chao are probably two famous Vietnamese rich kids known by many people. Recently, netizens were shocked when the two girls posted a video of themselves eating, the most notable of which was probably the money-smelling payment.
Recently, the "rich kid" Jenny Huynh shared a video review of Apple's first coffee shop. While this is a name that is already famous for products such as iPhone, iPad..., the launch of a coffee shop is also of interest to many people.
Jenny Huynh said that this cafe also sells food, but according to her, it looks like food that she can make at home. The price of these dishes is around $15, equivalent to about 372k.
The most anticipated and curious product at Apple's cafe is probably the drinks. Jenny Huynh ordered two items: coffee and latte, the images displayed on the screen are quite attractive. The way to order drinks here is also quite interesting when customers can click and choose like on a food ordering app. The amount of sugar and ice can also be added or reduced as desired.
It is known that the price of drinks here is about $5/cup, equivalent to about 124k. Jenny Huynh said that this price is quite cheap because she bought Starbucks for about $7/cup, equivalent to about 174k. This price makes many netizens feel a bit high, however, there are also opinions that with the standard of living in America, this amount of money for a cup of coffee is normal.
It is worth mentioning that when the product was brought out, contrary to Jenny Huynh's expectation of a drink decorated like the picture on the menu when ordering, the actual product was very different. It can be seen that the entire decoration on the mouth of the cup is completely different from the illustrated image. However, some netizens guessed that perhaps because Jenny Huynh chose an iced drink, it could not be decorated like that, if she ordered a hot drink, it would probably be different.
In return, the taste of the drinks here received many compliments from Jenny. She said the sweetness was just right, not too sweet, so she really enjoyed it.
No less notable than Jenny Huynh in terms of food, we cannot fail to mention rich kid Chao. Recently, she also made people surprised when she posted a clip reviewing a vermicelli and bean curd restaurant and her meal that cost up to 4 million VND. The amount is hundreds of times higher than a normal vermicelli and bean curd dish, making many viewers extremely curious, wondering what is in the vermicelli and bean curd here that makes it so expensive?
According to Chao, the bun dau restaurant she went to eat at is located in New York (USA), and is one of the few restaurants that sell this dish here. However, what is extremely impressive is that the tables, chairs, and bowls here are "exactly" the same as a bun dau restaurant in Vietnam. Even the dining view is very "sidewalk", making diners feel like they are eating bun dau mam tom in Vietnam.
Chao ordered a portion of vermicelli with fried tofu for two people, which included all the familiar ingredients such as vermicelli, fried tofu, boiled meat, green rice sausage, sausage, pig's tail, herbs and of course, shrimp paste. According to her review, the shrimp paste was a bit bland for Chao's taste, but the other dishes in the vermicelli with fried tofu were all delicious.
Besides vermicelli with fermented shrimp paste, this restaurant also sells many other dishes such as stuffed snails, quail eggs stir-fried with tamarind sauce, grilled scallops in egg cups, lemongrass and lime marinated chicken feet, fried chicken cartilage with garlic sauce... In addition, the drinks on the menu are also very Vietnamese such as kumquat tea, ginseng juice, tamarind ice, iced milk coffee...
The most notable thing was probably the payment, when the two girls (Chao and her friend) had a satisfying meal of vermicelli with fermented shrimp paste, the total bill was 161 USD, equivalent to about 4 million VND. Although in addition to the vermicelli with fermented shrimp paste for 2 people, she and her friend also ordered snails stuffed with meat, chicken cartilage, clam salad, 2 cups of lime tea, 1 cup of tamarind ice, the bill of 4 million for such a meal really made the viewer a bit... stunned.
However, many people quickly realized that this is a vermicelli and tofu restaurant in the US and the price is normal compared to the general level and not expensive at all.
