The court sentenced former idol trainee Han Seo Hee (27) to drug use charges for the third time in the first trial. Accordingly, on the afternoon of September 23, Judge Gu Ja Kwang of the 8th independent crime of the Seoul Eastern District Court sentenced Han Seo Hee to 6 months in prison for violating the Drug Control Act.

She was also required to complete the rehab program in 40 hours and pay a fine of 100,000 KRW (~70.30 USD). Han Seo Hee was charged with using methamphetamine, a psychotropic drug commonly known as "Meth", along with another person in Jungnang-gu, Seoul, last July, and this person is also charged.

On July 28, Joongang newspaper reported that Han Seo Hee was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison by the Korean Supreme Court for using drugs. Previously, she was prosecuted for suspicion of using the illegal drug methamphetamine in June 2020. She was prosecuted while on probation for using illegal drugs since 2016.

In November 2021, Han Seo Hee was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison by the Suwon District Court for using illegal drugs for the second time. She appealed and denied the allegation. Han Seo Hee affirmed that "her urine test results were unbelievable because the cup was dropped in the toilet".

On July 28, the Korean Supreme Court decided to uphold the ruling of the Suwon District Court. The court stated, "The defendant did not acknowledge his own illegal actions and continued to make confusing statements."

Han Seo Hee (born in 1995), is the daughter of a rich family, she often appears with luxury cars and expensive brands. She was recruited by JYP Entertainment as a trainee, then transferred to Jellyfish Entertainment and almost had the opportunity to debut with GFriend.
