Duong Thuy Linh: Miss Major Family of the same time Thuy Lam, U50 gave birth for the 2nd time

Duong Thuy Linh, born on 8/3/1983 in Hanoi, won the title of Miss Congeniality, reached the Top 5 of Miss Universe Vietnam in 2008. The highest position went to Nguyen Thuy Trang (stage name Thuy Lam), 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up respectively to Vo Hoang Yen and Duong Truong Thien Ly.

On June 15, 2018, the Department of Performing Arts granted her a license to participate in Mrs Worldwide 2018, which took place in Singapore and Malaysia from June 20 to June 24 of the same year.

Initially, when receiving the invitation from Mrs Worldwide, Duong Thuy Linh declined because she thought that she was 35 years old, had a full job and married life, so she did not want to participate in any beauty contest.

However, her "partner" and family members encouraged her to try her hand at new experiences, and at the same time assert herself with international friends. When deciding to attend Mrs Worldwide, Thuy Linh had to rearrange everything and ask her husband to take care of her son to feel secure on the way to the beauty contest.

At the finale, not only the highest honor, the long-legged born in 1983 also won two more sub-awards: People Choice and Special Queen Awards. This is the first time Vietnam has a representative to participate in this beauty arena but has unexpectedly won. The 1st runner-up of the competition went to representatives of South Africa, the 2nd runner-up was awarded to representatives of Russia.

In August 2023, Duong Thuy Linh posted a photo of her husband holding her waist to her stomach and happily announcing her second pregnancy. "It seems like the first time I had a different attitude. It's too cherished this time. I don't know if I cherish the inner one or the one outside," she shared.

In early February 2024, on her personal page, the queen shared the happy news that she had given birth to her second child. It is known that she "crossed" by caesarean section. "We're finally reunited. The first time she had a C-section, she was quarantined, she was so surprised! But it's okay to be back together now, son. Welcome my Mon to this world.
