After his girlfriend asked him to end their relationship, the 52-year-old man went to her house to talk, which led to a heated argument that resulted in the woman being hospitalized. The suspect is currently being held in custody for investigation.

According to Dan Tri newspaper, on February 24th, the Office of the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Dak Lak Provincial Police announced that they are temporarily detaining Pham Bach Hung (52 years old, from Hai Phong) for investigation into the act of intentionally causing injury. The incident stemmed from a romantic conflict but escalated into a serious act, shocking the local community.

According to initial investigations, the incident occurred around 5:30 PM on February 21st, the 5th day of the Lunar New Year. At this time, many families were still celebrating the New Year together. However, at a house in Hoa Thinh commune, an attack with a dangerous object unexpectedly occurred. The victim was Ms. LTM (35 years old, a local resident).

Authorities determined that the incident stemmed from Ms. M. requesting to end her romantic relationship with Hung. Unwilling to accept the breakup, Hung developed negative feelings. Instead of seeking a peaceful solution, Hung chose to act drastically.

That afternoon, Hung rode his motorbike, carrying a dangerous object, directly to Ms. M's house. Initially, the two exchanged words. However, the conversation quickly escalated into a heated argument. When the conflict reached a climax, Hung suddenly took out the dangerous object and struck the victim in the chest and neck.

This caused Ms. M. to be seriously injured. In this critical situation, nearby residents immediately intervened and helped take the victim to Phu Yen General Hospital for emergency treatment. Currently, Ms. M.'s health is being closely monitored by the medical team, and she is continuing to receive intensive treatment to ensure her safety.

Immediately after receiving the report, the authorities in Dak Lak province quickly arrived at the scene to conduct an examination, collect evidence, and take statements from those involved. The traces and evidence used in the investigation were sealed according to proper procedures. The suspect, Pham Bach Hung, was apprehended and arrested shortly afterward to assist with the investigation.

At the police station, Hung initially admitted to all of his actions. He confessed that the reason for the crime stemmed from anger and an inability to control his emotions when his girlfriend insisted on ending the relationship. It was this selfishness and negative thinking that led the 52-year-old man to act impulsively, causing serious consequences.
