Diddy is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, so the rapper will be celebrating Memorial Day in a very different way than usual.
According to TMZ, Diddy will participate in friendly sports with his fellow inmates, such as 3-on-3 basketball, dominoes, card games and board games. The prison holiday menu is also very rich, with fruit and cereal for breakfast. For lunch, Diddy will have grilled chicken, macaroni and cheese, mixed vegetables, and a special holiday dessert. For dinner, the "boss"'s meal will include chicken and rice, pinto beans, canned corn and whole wheat bread. Page Six reached out to Diddy's rep but did not receive a response.
Diddy is currently on trial, facing three charges: conspiracy to commit extortion; trafficking in drugs by force, fraud or coercion; and participating in a drug racketeering conspiracy. The hip-hop mogul has pleaded not guilty, denying all charges.
Several witnesses have testified about Diddy's physical violence against his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura . Among them is Dawn Richard, a former member of the band Danity Kane , which Diddy founded. The singer testified that Diddy often lost his temper and became violent with Cassie. "He pulled her, kicked her, and punched her in the mouth," said Dawn Richard, who said Cassie was often beaten when she tried to defend herself.
Diddy was arrested in New York (USA) on September 16, 2024. This tycoon was accused of a series of serious crimes of TD, MD, extortion... but pleaded not guilty in the prosecution hearing held on September 17. Previously, Cassie Ventura - Diddy's ex-girlfriend - accused and filed a lawsuit against the rapper for "using money and power to cover up evidence of physical and mental abuse".

Throughout his career, Diddy has proven to be a savvy music producer, producing hip hop hits under the Bad Boy Records label and establishing Diddy as a music mogul. Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, Diddy and his artists swept the top music charts.
Diddy is credited by the media with capitalizing on the transition of hip hop into the mainstream, creating a career that many rappers admire.
