Dao Han Nhien became famous overnight thanks to her role as An Lang Dung in "The Legend of Zhen Huan". She acted so well that even after 10 years of leaving the role, she was still hated bitterly and her life was no better than in the movie.
"The Legend of Zhen Huan" is considered one of the classic works of the Chinese palace drama genre. Aired since 2012, but up to now, the film's viewership is still very high, the themes and details in the film are often discussed by netizens. Not only the main role Zhen Huan (played by Sun Li) but also the supporting roles have left a deep impression on the audience.
Among them, we must mention Ly Phi An Lang Dung. This is a very complicated character, with a bad background, often lacking in confidence, and when she first entered the palace, she was bullied and oppressed. Later, she "darkened", became a villain, and finally ended her own life.
The actress who played An Ling Rong was Dao Han Nhien. At the time of filming "The Legend of Zhen Huan", she was only 24 years old but she played the role extremely well, making the audience both hat.e and love her. Few people know that in real life, she also went through a tragic period in her life, just like the character she played.
Dao Han Nhien was born in 1986 in a normal civil servant strike in Hunan. Her father was a calligrapher, her mother was a teacher. On a TV show, the actress burst into tears sharing about her sad childhood, almost being abused when she was only 9 years old. She also said that she was a victi.m of a harsh family education.
Dao Han Nhien was once beaten just because she got 98 points (China uses a 100-point scale, 98 points is equivalent to 9.8 points in Vietnam). The actress was whipped with a tree branch on her butt and was not even allowed to cry, having to hold back her tears in the face of scolding.
Even when she ranked fourth in her class, Dao Han Nhien was still beaten. Her mother, a teacher, did not accept her daughter being inferior to anyone. The pressure that lasted throughout her childhood lasted until now, and every time she recalls it, the actress still cannot hold back her tears.
The strict education and the unconditional sacrifice of life have shaped Dao Han Nhien's complex personality. She also carries within her a sense of rebellion, secretly immersing herself in Quynh Dao's novels when she was in middle school, and her love for art was kindled from there.
Although her mother had planned a path for Dao Han Nhien to attend a prestigious high school and then go to a good university, she loved art and was determined to follow her passion, breaking all of her mother's expectations.
Dao Han Nhien was originally selected by the troupe to be a dancer after graduation, but she did not want to be confined to a dance discipline, so she decided to enroll in the Tianjin Conservatory of Music, majoring in acting. In 2006, she officially entered the entertainment industry.
However, Dao Han Nhien's career path was not smooth because she had no backer and could not study at famous film schools. She went to Beijing alone, looking for an opportunity to change her life like many other actors. It was not until she transformed into the character An Lang Dung in "The Legend of Zhen Huan" in 2010 that she finally caught her chance.
After Dao Han Nhien became famous, her mother suddenly became a "successful mother" in the eyes of relatives and friends. Everyone came to ask her about the secret to raising children. When she learned this, the actress could not control her emotions and bluntly told her mother: "Today, I have achieved this success thanks to myself, not thanks to your teaching."
It seemed that those words contained all the resentment and hurt that Dao Han Nhien had suppressed for so many years. It was not only a protest, but also a venting of anger at the harsh education she had endured.
The role of An Lang Dung, although it brought fame to Dao Han Nhien, also became a "double-edged sword" that buried her career. In the following years, the actress tried her best with many different types of roles, but could not overcome the huge shadow of the past.
On the other hand, An Ling Rong is a typical villain, frustrating the audience with her scheming and calculating nature. Dao Han Nhien's excellent performance brought the role to life but also brought her many negative reactions.
Since the film aired more than 14 years ago, Dao Han Nhien has been continuously attacked on social networks. Many people have continuously left malicious comments, criticizing her for this villainous role, causing the actress to suffer great pressure throughout her years of artistic activities.
Regarding her personal life, on December 8, 2014, Dao Han Nhien was proposed to by actor Ha Kien Trach at a fashion event in front of many colleagues. On May 16, 2015, she announced her wedding, officially living together with her boyfriend when her career was on the rise.
More than a year later, Dao Han Nhien welcomed her first daughter and chose to temporarily stop her acting career to focus on her family and take care of her daughter. It seemed that after so much suffering, the actress had a happy ending with her husband of 5 years older, but no, she recently revealed the end of her married life.
On the afternoon of March 25, according to Sohu, Dao Han Nhien surprised everyone when she confirmed that she had divorced her husband. Before that, social networks were abuzz with rumors that the actress and her husband Ha Kien Trach had "gone their separate ways". Not long after, she officially spoke out on her personal page: "Yes, we broke up a while ago. Because I wanted to protect my chil.d, I did not make this private matter public. We are very sorry about this."
Dao Han Nhien's short but emotional post quickly attracted great attention from the public. Although she did not reveal the specific reason for the divorc.e, the actress affirmed that there was no major conflict or serious argument between them. She only described: "We lost each other."
Fans expressed their regret for a beautiful love, and at the same time sent words of encouragement to Dao Han Nhien. Regardless, she is still a mother, a talented actress and will certainly continue her own path after her broken marriage.
