Khanh Ly's name is often mentioned next to musician Trinh Cong Son, and she is considered the best Trinh singer ever.

The meeting with journalist Nguyen Hoang Doan in the US created a new turn for Khanh Ly's life in the foreign country. It was 1976, two people moved in together, relied on each other, and together overcome the first difficult days in the foreign country.

A few years later, Khanh Ly gradually found a job to sing again. When she started to have a better income from singing and needed to develop her career, he retired to work as her back.

He said: "I work as a journalist, so I think I also have the b.lood of an artist. When I married Khanh Ly, I definitely quit my job, c.ut o.ff my career to work for my wife.
