Khanh Ly is known as one of the great singers of Vietnam. She is considered as the second monument in Vietnamese music in the second half of the twentieth century (after the famous singer Thai Thanh), with great contributions and far-reaching influence that few have touched. If we consider Vietnamese new music as an empire, Khanh Ly's position is the prime minister "under one person but over ten thousand people".

The songs rich in poetry and imbued with the philosophy of Trinh Cong Son, inspired by Khanh Ly's narcissistic voice, not only bring listeners back to an old flower and butterfly sky, with stories passionate couple love, with contemplations about life, but also with tender feelings of love for the homeland, country, and race.
