The above information is being spread rapidly on Korean forums. Each post receives huge engagement even though this unexpected incident happened only a few hours ago.
On the evening of August 6, local media reported that 7 passengers were injured while rushing to evacuate a subway train at Sinnonhyeon Station in Seoul, South Korea. According to video recorded at the scene, passengers shoved each other, creating a chaotic situation that risked leading to a more serious crash.
Many speculated it was a knife attack or gas leak, leaving many residents bewildered. After receiving the tip, the area police evacuated the passengers and checked the inside and outside of the carriages. However, they found no signs of a gas leak or a knife attack.
It turns out that this chaos is caused by Suga (BTS) fans. Specifically, while watching the idol livestream, he revealed his tattoo, causing the fans here to suddenly scream loudly. Nearby passengers were also panicked, not understanding why the group was screaming, causing chaos in the carriage.
The incident was captured in the video and went viral on social media sites. Netizens criticized the fan group:
"How can they scream like that on the subway?"
"Those screaming people almost caused a stampede. They should be punished."
"The subway is not a concert. Restrain yourself."
"I feel very sorry for Suga because he was able to be criticized unexpectedly because of those fans."
On the same day, BTS member Suga held his final live concert at a venue near the station area. The time of the scuffle is believed to have been when fans were travelling home from the concert.
BTS's Suga held his solo encore concert D-DAY: THE FINAL at KSPO Dome, Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul for three consecutive days. Here, the coolest-faced member of the group warmed the hearts of the Army community with a series of hits, a quality guest cast, and even a tattoo of the number 7...
It is known that Suga will be the next member preparing to enlist in the military, so D-DAY: THE FINAL has had memorable burning moments that he wishes to send to his fans.
A series of three nights of D-DAY: THE FINAL performance by singer and songwriter Suga has left a bold mark in the hearts of fans. For this solo journey, Suga chose the KSPO Dome â one of the places considered a "K-Pop mecca" â as a place to connect with the audience.
Earlier, in June, the news of Suga holding an encore concert in Seoul â the final venue of the global tour â received a warm response from fans. During this performance, Suga showed a variety of individual compositions from his solo album D-Day and many previously released songs from his albums Agust D and D-2.
Suga's three Seoul encore concerts became a memorable event for ARMY as the members of BTS took turns appearing in support of the artist. It is worth noting that each night of performance is adorned by a different BTS member, bringing unexpected performances and warm emotions to fans.
Suga performed a total of 25 performances during his solo tour in 10 cities, attracting more than 290,000 spectators. Given this attraction, it is not surprising that the encore concerts in Seoul sold out shortly after going on sale.
The problem posed in this story is that idol culture at the moment cannot be said to be comfortable. In the minds of a small section of people who still have antipathy, they feel that supporting and idolizing idols does not bring any benefits at all. As soon as the clip was posted, the comments left were mostly reproachful, even from here they had another opportunity to harshness their inherent prejudice.
In fact, supporting and expressing affection for your idol is not bad. But letting personal things affect those around them like the above story is an indirect cause that contributes a minus point to idol culture that is still being "old-fashioned".
