Cong Ly's daughter said she felt that she and Long Vu had many similarities, especially the shared passion for art and the desire to do well in their roles in films. In a recent share, Thuc Anh revealed that the most memorable memory between the two was that Long Vu acted in a film she directed while still in college.

Cong Ly's daughter shared: "At that time, Long Vu helped me from the idea stage, to acting, giving advice on the script, and even introducing the crew members to me. At that time, Long Vu filmed for me until he was sick and had to be hospitalized for IV, but when asked if he would help again next time, Long Vu still agreed. It was also after that memory that I really appreciate this friend.
