On the morning of March 29, the Tien Phong marathon held a flag raising ceremony, so the couple decided to take wedding photos there. The owner said that although this was just a rehearsal, the scene created a sacred and meaningful moment in the heart of the bride and groom. "I love the national flag so this is really a cherished memory in my life. The moment he saw the flag appear, the pride and gratitude of many generations of his father before him surged in our hearts," Quynh Anh said.

Gia Thuan (who took this photo, lives in Phu Yen) said that on the evening of March 28, he asked relatives if anyone drove to Mui Dien, because he was afraid that the bride and groom would walk tired. However, during the rehearsal, people are not allowed to ride motorcycles. As early as 2:30 a.m., the couple started applying makeup. At 4:30 a.m. they departed for Vung Ro, on their way to meet the convoy of the organizers.

"We were surprised at the time, because it was so crowded. Everyone is worried about whether they will be able to capture the sunrise as planned. The whole crew walked together, saw that underneath everyone was stacking S-shaped molds and Spratly Islands, Paracels, and came up with this idea," he said.

At 5:30 a.m., the crew walked at the foot of Cape Dien up the cape to capture the sunrise and walk down gradually. Arriving at the high ceremony viewing point, Mr. Thuan quickly took a panoramic picture of the sacred flag salute moment of the couple and all the militiamen and students below Bai Mon.

"When the music played, the whole crew chanted slogans and saluted the flag. It felt like everyone was happy and it was meaningful, sacred," he recalled.

R.evealing about the emotion when catching the grand flag ceremony, the crew of the photo series shared: "When the National Anthem plays, not only the bride and groom but also the members of the crew feel emotional, proud, remove all fatigue. This was a memorable shoot for the crew themselves."

Quynh Anh didn't think the wedding photo series would spread to many people. The bride also regretted that she planned to share it with relatives and friends. Unexpectedly, the famous photo series was beyond their thoughts, so they knew before surfing social media. Anyway, it's a meaningful anniversary before the couple's big day.

Quynh Anh and Quoc Anh both work in Ho Chi Minh City. The two met during a climbing practice in early 2021. Due to the same hobby of participating in outdoor activities such as climbing, running, archery, Quoc Anh actively pursued and received the consent of his girlfriend after one year.

"For us, running helps relieve stress, is a way to understand ourselves better, know the limits and endurance," Quynh Anh said. She also said she and her fiancé have competed in three or four short distance races. As for the race in Phu Yen this time, they have registered for a distance of 21km but have not been able to do it, despite nearly a year of physical preparation.
