"He knows that with some of the other kids who aren't his biological children, they don't understand and may never allow him back into their lives. But Brad really feels that when the divorce is over and the litigation is over, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox will look in the mirror and realize that their dad is a part of them too. Brad accepts that Shiloh made the decision. While it hurts him, he also believes that there will come a time when she sees things for what they are," the source emphasized.

According to the Daily Mail, before the court approves the application, Shiloh must carry out the mandatory procedure of announcing the name change in a widely circulated newspaper for a month.
