"At that time, I was barely able to find a deposit. In addition to working on a project to get a license, there were times when I had to "eat on credit" and "receive guests on credit" every time I received guests" - Mr. Hien said. After that, T&T became one of the first businesses to obtain a license and begin assembling motorbikes. Business is going very well.
With this initial success, a large corporation proposed to cooperate with T&T to jointly invest in building the largest motorbike engine, component and motorbike assembly factory in the North, which is the T&T factory. Hung Yen with a total investment value of 300 billion VND at that time.
It can be said that T&T Hung Yen factory is one of the first factories to form the motorbike industry in Vietnam. But because it is so famous, the shops compete with each other on price. There was a time when a T&T dealer sold a motorbike for a profit of 2 million VND, but then sometimes it only made a profit of 50,000 VND. That makes dealers no longer want to sell T&T motorbikes because profits are not high.
Then, adding changes in technology and mechanisms causes business activities to gradually decline. However, later, his passion for mechanics still made Mr. Do Quang Hien decide to establish T&T Motor in 2011, investing in a production line and assembling 4-wheeled motorbikes. Branded products. T&T Exotic 'trucks' costing 60-90 million VND, T&T Fushida three-wheeled vehicles... are also bought by many people to transport small goods in the countryside.
