Angelina Jolie was "blind" before divorcing Brad Pitt, trying to find herself again?

After completing the divorce procedure with actor Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie constantly appeared at major events. Most recently, she was present at the Golden Globe Awards. In addition, the actress also shared her shock, admitting that the "light was dim" after the breakup.

In an interview on Times Radio, Angelina Jolie said that playing the role of Maria Callas has made her look deep inside and face hidden emotions.

Angelina went on to share: "Being pushed out of my comfort zone at this point in my life, doing something that scares me and I'm not sure I can do it – it's the greatest gift an artist can receive."

Earlier, at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards red carpet in Beverly Hilton, Los Angeles, Angelina shared that the role of Maria was a big challenge in her career.

"Not being able to play Maria Callas and disappoint the people who love her is really a big fear for me. But it is that fear that makes life interesting. We live to face things that worry us, to let our hearts beat harder, and to try things that have never been certain," Angelina admitted. The star of The Tourist strongly affirmed: "This is the decade I spent doing things that scared me."
