On April 21, Ms. VNH ordered a set of OHUI PRIME rose water cosmetics (Korea) for 1.99 million VND from social network account Chu Thanh Huyen, but the label only had foreign words and no secondary label or instructions for use in Vietnamese as required.

When contacting the seller to request a value-added tax (VAT) invoice, the representative of the social network Chu Thanh Huyen responded that this was "hand-carried goods" so there was no VAT invoice. Suspecting that Chu Thanh Huyen's account was selling contraband goods and had signs of tax evasion, Ms. VNH filed a complaint with the authorities along with evidence of the product purchase and sale transaction, requesting investigation and clarification.

After the news of the accusation, Chu Thanh Huyen still went to Korea for work and livestreamed to introduce products and sell goods as usual. Quang Hai's wife affirmed that she paid taxes in full so there was nothing to be afraid of. " As a Vietnamese citizen, I always respect the law. I sell goods and pay taxes in full, there is nothing to be afraid of. As for the rest, I don't care what anyone says. Whoever is wrong will be dealt with by the law," said Chu Thanh Huyen.

She added: "I only focus on sales, bringing the best products to consumers and don't care about outside issues."

Chu Thanh Huyen, wife of football player Quang Hai, is famous in the online business world. On social networks Facebook and Tiktok, Chu Thanh Huyen's account has over 3.7 million followers and 1.7 million followers respectively, and she often livestreams to sell Korean cosmetic products.
