"Because My Mom Ordered a Breakup" has officially surpassed 800 million views, dominating all discussion charts. Besides the dramatic family disapproval plot, the sweet interactions and heartwarming kissing scenes of the cast are also becoming a focal point of attention.
The hype surrounding the TV drama "Because My Mother Decided We Break Up" is spreading faster than ever, officially reaching 800 million views across digital platforms. Not only is it dominating social media discussion charts according to SocialTrend data, but the series is also asserting its unique appeal through impressive behind-the-scenes activities. A prime example is the romantic bride-groom transformation of the couple Vo Dien Gia Huy and Le Tam Trieu Dang in their performance of "Kim Phut Kim Gio" at the "Brotherhood" Concert Day 9, a moment that sparked endless online speculation and discussion.
The plot in episodes 11 and 12 is building to a dramatic climax as the budding romance between the main characters faces fierce opposition from their families. The character Trieu Phu (played by Vo Dien Gia Huy) makes a strong psychological breakthrough by frankly refusing the arranged marriage with Hoan My (played by Thuy Anh).
The desire to live authentically and protect his love for Thanh Tam (played by Tam Trieu Dang) transformed Trieu Phu from a pampered young man burdened by many constraints into a man willing to abandon all his privileged status. This unwavering resolve inadvertently awakened Hoan My, prompting her to bravely seek out her true love, Phan Minh (played by Tran Ngoc Vang).
However, the path to happiness is never paved with roses. Past tragedies and the fear of a prophecy of "great calamity" drive Mrs. Mai (played by Hong Anh) to use every means to separate her son. Meanwhile, Hoan My finds herself in an even more dire situation when her true identity is revealed, turning her into a pawn in the hands of ambitious adults. The climax of the tragedy is the scene where Uncle Sau (played by Meritorious Artist My Duyen) uses his life to force his daughter to sacrifice her personal love in order to return as Trieu Phu's fiancée.
Meritorious Artist My Duyen shared that this was the most challenging scene, where the character uses her maternal instincts as a weapon to pressure her child into choosing between filial piety and love. For Thuy Anh, this was a real psychological test that made her rack her brains to fully portray the panic, guilt, and pain in just a few short seconds.
In another development, Tran Ngoc Vang's character, Phan Minh, also had to endure physical pain when facing criticism and slaps from his father, played by actor Trung Lun. Although the senior actor wanted to "cheat" the camera angle to protect his junior, the young actor was determined to get real slaps to maintain the character's emotions.
To ease the tension, the film still interweaves heartwarming romantic moments, especially the three kissing scenes with different nuances between the couple Phan Minh and Hoan My. Thuy Anh confessed that even though she has participated in many projects, she was still extremely embarrassed when performing these intimate scenes. She revealed that she "broke down" and couldn't stop laughing 4-5 times while acting out the flirting scene with Tran Ngoc Vang due to their close relationship in real life.
Perhaps the most memorable moment was the passionate kiss at the airport. Tran Ngoc Vang revealed that due to the tight filming schedule on location, they "kissed as soon as they arrived." Thanks to their chemistry and understanding after a long period of interaction, the scene was completed smoothly. In particular, the actor's thoughtfulness was evident in his willingness to ask his co-star's permission before filming and to give Thuy Anh a respectful hug and thank her after each kiss. The kindness and professionalism of the cast, combined with the thrilling script, are the key to "Because My Mother Decided We Break Up" maintaining its leading position in the current film industry.
The couple from "Because My Mom Ordered a Breakup" caused a stir with a moment of ignoring each other on the red carpet.

Is this a sudden rift or just a rare incident between the couple who are rumored to be in a real-life relationship after working together on a film?
