We would like to make it clear that we are the legal owners of the trademark Miss Universe Vietnam. Therefore, we will take all necessary legal action to protect our interests. We hope that this clarification resolves any misunderstandings and confirms that SG Unicorp does not have the right to use our intellectual property."

JKN Group also confirmed that the Miss Universe organization had stripped Unicorp of the Vietnamese name of the company when the cooperation contract between the two parties ended.

On the evening of February 28, Unicorp company had a response to this incident. Accordingly, Unicorp affirms that the protection of Miss Universe organization in Vietnam only includes the brand name and trademark "Miss Universe".

Meanwhile, during the past 15 years, Unicorp has been repeatedly licensed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City to organize an independent contest with the name "Miss Universe".
