Tu Cam Cao Oa: 'Wu Zetian' in wheelchair, fell off horse 3 times, brain injury

Tu Cam Cao Oa was born in 1950. She started her artistic career in 1979 with the main role in the famous film "Quy tam tu tien". After only 4 years of debut, Tu Cam Cao Oa excellently won the Best Actress awar.d at the 3rd Golden Rooster Awards and the 6th Hundred Flowers Awards. In particular, in 2004, she left a deep impression on the audience with her transformation into Wu Meiniang in "Wu tu bi ca".

After 8 years, she divorced and took her daughter with her; her son stayed with his father.

Later, Si Qin Gao Oa met and married ethnic actor Dat Oat Ngao Tinh Than. Less than half a year later, the two got married, but the marriage also fell apart because the husband could not stand living in the spotlight of his wife. At that time in 1983, Si Qin Gao Oa became famous with the movie Camel Driver.

After two failed marriages with an abusive husband and an incompetent husband, Tu Cam Cao Oa was heartbroken. She threw herself into acting and planned not to marry again. It was not until she met Tran Luong Thanh - her third husband, who was 17 years older than her, that Tu Cam Cao Oa found true happiness. He had experienced a failed marriage before, so he understood the actress's pain and frustration.

Initially, due to fear of marriage after two failed marriages, the actress refused Tran Luong Thanh's feelings. "Wu Zetian" initially tried to reject his feelings, saying: "I am just a disabled person, my body was injured because of filming and my heart is bleedin.g because of love".

Tran Luong Thanh did not give up because of that, he honestly replied: "If you are injured, you must be treated, there is nothing to be afraid of, let me take care of internal injuries, and the doctor will take care of external injuries. I will give you safety and health."

Not only that, when receiving many criticisms for pursuing Tu Cam Cao Oa - a woman who has been married twice and has children, Tran Luong Thanh also strongly declared: "Even if she gets divorced 100 times, I will still make the same decision."

Many years later, she finally felt his sincerity and agreed to marry him. In 1986, they got married and decided to move to Switzerland. Tu Cam Cao Oa and Tran Luong Thanh did not have any children together, only two children from previous marriages.

The two have lived happily together for decades, overcoming all difficulties when they were sick in old ag.e. Talking about her current husband, Tu Cam Cao Oa once happily praised him: "He is very handsome, the older he gets, the more handsome he becomes!".

After Tran Luong Thanh passed away in 2022 due to cancer, his entire estate was left to his stepdaughter.

This loss left a deep wound in her heart, causing Si Qin Gao Oa to decide to return to China to act in films and participate in reality TV shows, hoping to ease her sadness. However, her health is no longer the same as before due to the after-effects of injuries from her youth.

Three serious falls from horses while filming left her with brain injuries and bon.e and joint problems, especially her left leg, which was constantly painfu.l and required her to use a wheelchair to move around.

Currently, at the ag.e of 74, Tu Cam Cao Oa lives a private life, limiting her public appearances. Having been through three marriages, she still lives alone in her old ag.e. Her son and daughter both have their own careers and lives, and do not live with their mother.
