Tran Uyen Phuong was born in 1981. At the age of 19, she started a business administration program in Singapore. After 4 years of university studies, she returned to Vietnam to work for her family's company, without any problems. Any favor from the boss is also a strict father. The girl makes her own efforts and works non-stop.
Tran Uyen Phuong's father is Mr. Tran Qui Thanh born in 1953, he is the founder of Tan Hiep Phat Group.
Tran Uyen Phuong's mother is Mrs. Tran Thi Nu born in 1957, she used to be the president and director of Tan Hiep Phat.
Tran Ngoc Bich's younger sister, born in 1984, graduated with a degree in financial management from the University of Manchester in the UK. She is currently the deputy general director of Tan Hiep Phat. At the same time, he holds the position of Director of Number One Ha Nam Company.
Tran Uyen Phuong's younger brother is Mr. Tran Quoc Dung born in 1985, general director of Tran Toan Phat company.
Recently, Ms. Tran Uyen Phuong is almost the representative of Tan Hiep Phat appearing at events for business people.
As the daughter of Mr. Tran Qui Thanh - Chairman of Tan Hiep Phat Group, many people think that Tran Uyen Phuong was "born at the finish line". But reality is different. The father with the concept of "love the whip to leap", "if you want your child to know how to swim, you have to put it in the water" and "it's okay to take a few sips", and Dr Thanh is always stricter with his children than outsiders.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tu, Director of Tan Hiep Phat's R&D and Project Division, who is also a longtime friend of Dr Thanh's family, said that Mr. Thanh manages his children very closely. "If outsiders make mistakes, they will be dealt with in moderation, especially those who are wrong must be fined 5 times," Tu said.
Whether Tran Uyen Phuong or Tran Ngoc Bich - the second daughter, was chosen as the heir, but that position did not come naturally. It is the process by which the two girls have to train themselves, gain the recognition of those around them, from the lowest position to the top.
"It's just an inheritance, but Phuong and Bich themselves do not have any privileges or privileges. When they enter the company, they are also normal employees, striving for themselves, not just a deputy general director like like Where do people see it now," Tu said.
After graduating in Singapore, Uyen Phuong got her first job at Tan Hiep Phat as a marketing director's secretary, then was transferred to be an interpreter for the ERP project manager. The opportunity came to Phuong when the company needed someone who was good at English and understood Tan Hiep Phat for a project coordinator team. "That was the first position where I managed 30 people," Phuong laughed as she recalled.
Phuong said that even though she is Thanh's daughter, if she does not have the ability, the opportunity to present herself in front of her is just a waste of time. "I think how people treat me is not as important as how I accept it and find ways to handle and complete the work," Phuong shared.
For Phuong, the harsh treatment of the bosses, or the way employees often see it as "stupid", is in fact an opportunity to improve themselves. In her view, those who really create good results have overcome difficulties and stood firm against difficult bosses. In fact, the most difficult boss at Tan Hiep Phat is Mr. Thanh - Phuong's father.
Recalling, Phuong said that there were days at 5 am that he had to start "exercise" to return the lesson to "boss" Dr. Thanh. Lunch also usually takes place at 14-15h, dinner many days until 24h, especially, there are times when it ends at 2am if father and son still discuss work.
There is a lot of pressure, but Phuong's salary and treatment are similar to other employees, since she set foot in Tan Hiep Phat until now.
"When I worked as a secretary, I was accepted as much as I was when I was a secretary. Up to now, the salary for managers at the company is as much as I am, sometimes even lower," she said.
"Miss Phuong, Ms. Bich work 14-15 hours a day at the company. Going home to sleep is also the company. The 5th floor of Tan Hiep Phat headquarters is also Dr Thanh's house", Mr. Tu said about the generation of leaders. Proud company successor. "Dr Thanh handing over inheritance is giving responsibility," he added.
Acknowledging that inheriting her father's billion-dollar property is stressful, but Phuong expressed her opinion that she always wants to be in a higher position, not stop. And to achieve that goal, Phuong is not afraid to try and find new opportunities, even the smallest, because there are jobs and experiences that will hardly have a second chance in life.
