Ta Dinh Phong could not hide his emotions when standing on the stage of a food and music festival in Macau, silently sharing his pain at the Hong Kong fire tragedy and sending choking gratitude to the audience.

A terrible fire that occurred at the Hung Fook Court apartment complex in Dabo, Hong Kong (China) has left heavy consequences: many residents lost their homes, their families were separated and especially, a firefighter died trying to save people. A melancholic atmosphere enveloped the entire city, causing a series of entertainment events to be postponed, adjusted, or shortened to show respect for the community's shared pain.

In the midst of that time of mourning, the " Rock and Roll MGM Grand Taste 2025 Food Festival" taking place on November 29-30 in Macau has become a rare bright spot to show the spirit of sharing. The event is not only a place to enjoy music and food, but also turned into a donation activity to support the victims. Ta Dinh Phong (Nicholas Tse) and MGM donated 5 million Hong Kong dollars (equivalent to more than 15.7 billion VND) to help affected residents stabilize their lives soon. The organizers also changed the tone of the program, aiming to comfort, encourage and send positive energy to Hong Kong.

On the opening night, Ta Dinh Phong appeared in black, walked out on stage with a familiar guitar, but his face was clearly engraved with sadness. A calm atmosphere enveloped the auditorium as soon as he opened: "In the past few days, Hong Kong (China) has experienced a heartbreaking fire. We have donated a donation to those in need. Although money cannot make up for life, we want to show our affection and support."

His words made many viewers silent. During the performance, the male singer many times couldn't control his emotions, his eyes were red and sometimes he had to stop to catch his breath. Unlike always, the singer changed the entire performance list, deciding to cover the old song "Drunken Angel" – a song that is very rarely performed live. For Truong Kinh Hien, this is a spiritual gift for the victims who died, especially the firefighters who did not care about their lives to protect the people.

The stage that day was not only musical; it is also a place where artists and the public turn their hearts to Hong Kong. The selected songs are all depositioned and rich in narrative. The interaction between performers and the audience made many people shed tears, because everyone could clearly see the huge loss that the city was suffering.

This year's MF Grand Taste Festival is therefore not just an entertainment event, but has become a community activity with many humanitarian meanings. Artists such as Ta Dinh Phong and Truong Kinh Hien not only appear to perform but also to send a message of sharing, compassion and hope.
