The Vice Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee emphasized that the overseas Vietnamese community is an inseparable part of the Vietnamese nation; affirmed that the Party and State always pay attention to policies to care for and support overseas Vietnamese to quickly stabilize and integrate well into the host society; at the same time encourage and create conditions for overseas Vietnamese to turn to their homeland and contribute to the country.

Acknowledging Quang Linh's proposals and recommendations, the Vice Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee affirmed that the Foreign Affairs Committee and the agencies of the National Assembly will continue to advise the National Assembly to perfect policies and laws on overseas Vietnamese in order to create a legal corridor to ensure and enhance the legal status of overseas Vietnamese, and effectively carry out citizen protection work for overseas Vietnamese.
