Singer Quach Tuan Du was born and raised in a non-artistic family, at the age of 17 he moved to Ho Chi Minh City to establish a career. At first, without the support of his family, the male singer struggled to establish a foothold. Quach Tuan Du used to carry food, help in the kitchen, and prepare food to have money to cover his life.

He shared, at that time, his mother only gave him exactly 50,000 VND because he did not agree to let him do art.

"At that time, I held 50,000 thousand but tears fell, I left the house. When I got to Saigon, I fell into a state of having to do everything. Working as a waiter in a restaurant, then I also had to do the cleaning of the toilet. ", the male singer said.

The male singer also revealed that he used to serve tables for My Tam and other colleagues. He recalls: "The restaurant I worked at at that time was a 5-star restaurant specializing in serving foreign guests, I didn't know English but I could also speak Vietnamese.

Vietnamese guests also have but less. I used to serve My Tam and Thu Minh when they came to my restaurant to eat.

My Tam didn't know who I was because when I brought her food, I lowered my face a bit. I was a bit shy and embarrassed in front of My Tam because I used to be a singing colleague with her but worked as a waitress for her. I have a low self-esteem."

Having no conditions, having to work part-time to earn a living, Quach Tuan Du experienced hard days, even he was severely burned, his body burned black. The singer choked up and said:

"The accident related to my profession was that I was burned, the gas cylinder exploded in the restaurant I work. When I burned the gas, it burned my face, the scar is still there.

At that time, the owner of the restaurant took 150,000 VND to chase me to the hospital immediately. I just wondered why he wouldn't take me away but sent me away alone in the morning.

Climbing into a motorbike taxi, I went alone, but my body burned down, the lights went back, everyone on the street looked at me. I just went to Cho Ray hospital, when I was bandaged and brought home, my friend found out.

My friend just told me to take pictures and send them to her, but I didn't tell her because my mother has a habit that when she knows something is wrong, she will not be able to stand it and will get sick. I stayed in Saigon until the wound was almost healed.

Not only was he severely burned, Quach Tuan Du also had an accident in the river that nearly died. He recalls:

"Once I dropped my car into the river. Actually at that time I was having an emotional problem in my head. When I was driving, I didn't pay much attention, and the roads in the countryside were short, very small, on both sides. there are no barriers.

On that part of the road was at Tra Du bridge, I was in Hong Ngu, the road was paved with fine stone, I lost the steering wheel, I fell into the river. When the water was up to my neck, I was about to call my mother, but when I picked up the phone to press it, it broke."

It is known that Quach Tuan Du's mother got married at the age of 23. He is the 4th child in a family of 5 siblings. When Quach Tuan Du's mother was 35 years old, his father passed away, and the singer's mother had to support her children for decades alone.

Because of this, until now, Quach Tuan Du is still tormented, regretting that when he was a child, he prevented his mother from taking another step.

"There are times when I think that if I have a father, I am happier, I have to have someone as the breadwinner in the house to solve my problems.

When I was 10 years old, I saw my mother holding hands and sitting in bed with a man. That person I find very handsome, is a football player. I suddenly saw that action, when I was young, I did not accept having a stepfather.

I just yelled at the village, went to call my sisters to run in and rummage, he was too afraid to run away, since then he has not seen again, my mother is also very shy. Until now, I am not sure if I have received it.

That's what I regret the most. Now my second sister is in Australia, the youngest is in the US, my third brother is in the countryside, my younger brother has a wife, people only come back from time to time, but none of them live with their mother all the time.

Sharing about being unmarried at the age of 41, Quach Tuan Du admitted that he had experienced many love affairs, intending to get married, but because his girlfriend is not suitable for his motherhood, he still cannot get married until now. family.

"My mother is difficult, my sister-in-law is told by my mother a lot of things she is not happy with. I love her too much, so I always want to do what she agrees with.

I also had time to stay with a girlfriend for 5 years, like a family, but in the end it still fell apart, life can't predict anything.

I got where I am today because of my persistence, like my mother's character. Many times when I failed, I would not ask for help on my own. I have adopted father Ngoc Son. When I failed, lost to others, I could ask my foster father Ngoc Son to help me, but I still wouldn't ask.

There was a time when I had a fight with the manager, I was about to jump down the stairs, but my mother interfered, and she cried a lot because of that time, I felt like I was inhibited, "said the male singer.

Experiencing countless difficulties, Quach Tuan Du thanked his mother, and at the same time, the male singer confided that he was extremely satisfied with his current peaceful life.
