After the shocking car crash that made Angelina Jolie's son Angelina Jolie's entertainment industry blush, Pax Thien recently appeared with his mother for the first time. His hands are still in a cast, but his current appearance is commented to be fresher.

Pax Thien (20) went to lunch with Angelina Jolie in Beverly Hills, California on September 4, according to the Daily Mail. The image recorded Pax Thien with a cast around his right hand but still looking healthy when he and the 49-year-old actress walked along the sidewalk. Pax tried to hide from the paparazzi while wearing a black hat, sunglasses, and covered his face with his hands.

In late July, Pax Thien was riding an electric bike on Los Feliz Avenue in Los Angeles during rush hour and crashed into the tail of a car that was stopped at a red light, law enforcement sources told TMZ. Pax was not wearing a helmet at the time. Lola Cavalli, one of the first people to be at the scene of the collision to assist, recounted what she witnessed on Entertainment Tonight.

"I don't see any bones broken, I don't feel serious, so to speak. I was instructed to press on the injured area but could not see it," she explained.

Cavalli added, "The mouth of the Hollywood star's son is full of blood. When Pax tried to speak, I saw blood coming out of his mouth," she said. Eventually, the ambulance team arrived and took Pax Thien to the hospital, where he was treated in the intensive care unit.

A source told Page Six that Angelina Jolie is always with her son even though his condition is "stable". "He has a head injury and is starting a long road to recovery, physical therapy," the source revealed at the time. An insider has previously said Pax Thien has been hit by multiple e-bikes in the past, adding that he is "consistent" with never wearing a helmet.

Earlier, Angelina Jolie, 49, was shocked and worried when she received a call about the collision, noting that her other children were supporting Pax as best they could.

After being discharged from the intensive care unit, an insider shared that Pax Thien "suffered from complex injuries and is now beginning the recovery process, long-term physical therapy".

Brad Pitt (60 years old) received an update on Pax Thien's recovery process despite alienating his adult children. A source confirmed in early August: "Brad has not been in contact with Pax Thien for many years but he is still very interested."

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in mid-August, Angelina Jolie confirmed that Pax Thien was recovering from the crash but declined to provide details.

She shared about the fact that both Pax Thien and her brother Maddox (23 years old) worked with the Maria film crew starring her. The film, directed by Pablo Larrain, premiered at the 2024 Venice Film Festival and received an 8-minute round of applause on August 29.
