In his youth, he graduated from the Faculty of Composition - Hanoi Conservatory of Music, class 1983 - 1993. The song Spring Whisper was composed by Ngoc Chau when he was a second year student at the Conservatory. He has a wandering soul, dreaming, can compose at any time when emotions are direct.

As a famous musician for a while, Ngoc Chau is very secretive about her private life. Before his death, Ngoc Chau had many years of quiet life, almost no longer appearing in the entertainment world, although he was still working hard at composing music.
