To ensure a smooth visa application process for contestants and to avoid overlapping with the Lunar New Year holiday, Miss Grand International (MGI) has officially announced adjustments to the All Stars season schedule.
Recently, the Miss Grand International organizing committee announced to fans a change in the timing of the special "All Stars" season. This decision is seen as a cautious step to ensure maximum benefits for international representatives when they come to Thailand.
The visa problem and the obstacles posed by long holidays.
Initially, Miss Grand All Stars was scheduled to take place from January 25th to February 13th, 2026. However, this date coincides with the Lunar New Year holiday – one of the most important and longest holidays in many Asian countries.
BTC noted that the holiday closure of diplomatic missions would lead to delays in processing legal procedures and visa issuance. An MGI representative stated: "The event coinciding with the Lunar New Year holiday could cause delays in visa processing for participants. To ensure that all announced representatives can participate fully and smoothly, we have decided to adjust the timeline."
In addition, the organization also confirmed that previously confirmed candidates remain eligible to participate, and there are no changes to the list of applicants due to the rescheduling.
All Stars Edition: The Battle of the True Warriors
Despite being only in its initial stages, the All Stars season has already generated significant media attention. This marks the first time in history that MGI has organized a special edition for beauty queens who have competed in international beauty pageants but have yet to win the coveted crown.
The most groundbreaking innovation is that MGI has officially opened its doors to transgender beauty pageant contestants. This is considered a revolutionary step, affirming the message of diversity and unlimited beauty standards that Nawat Itsaragrisil – President of MGI – has always strived for.
Vietnam's representative: An unknown quantity that keeps fans on the edge of their seats.
While Thailand and the Philippines have already revealed their formidable "contenders," the identity of Vietnam's successor in this competition remains a secret. On beauty pageant forums, netizens are buzzing with discussions and comparing several prominent names.
Le Hoang Phuong: A beauty queen possessing masterful catwalk skills and extensive experience at MGI 2023. Huong Giang: Miss International Transgender 2018, who is expected to make history if she participates in this competition, especially since Nawat subtly suggested she join. Hanh Nguyen & Ngoc Thao: Runners-up with "stunning" figures and performance styles that closely match the criteria of Miss Grand.
The silence from the copyright holder in Vietnam has only intensified the excitement surrounding the competition. Audiences are eagerly awaiting a contestant with the courage and determination to continue Vietnam's impressive track record at the Grand Prix.
Registration remains open.
Although the official start date has not yet been set, the Miss Grand International organizing committee confirms that registration is still open to find the most outstanding contestants. The new schedule is expected to be updated in the next few weeks after the organizing committee balances logistical and legal factors.
While postponing the schedule may cause some disappointment for fans, it is the best solution to ensure the most explosive, polished, and large-scale "All Stars" season ever.
Miss Grand asked the first runner-up of Miss Universe to invite Huong Giang, and the beauty queen's reaction was shocking!
Minh Lợi16:32:49 11/12/2025Following the rumors circulating on social media, Huong Giang has spoken out to clarify. She stated that the information she mentioned about appearing at Miss Grand International's Grand Sport Day 2025 was actually just a personal invitation from Veena.
