The Mailisa case shocked public opinion when the Ministry of Public Security seized 100 red books, 300 SJC gold bars, 3 billion VND and 400,000 USD. Mailisa and her husband voluntarily paid an additional 300 billion VND, handed over 12 supercar registration papers and many valuable assets to serve the investigation.
