On Jennie's social networking site, the online community was surprised to see the female idol constantly sharing about the upcoming music show in Hanoi. In particular, the female idol group Blackpink also announced about the territorial issue of Vietnam after the recent controversy of the cow's tongue line.
Recently, on July 22, Jennie Blackpink surprised when posting a check-in photo at Sword Lake, Hanoi with the status line " 6 days...Hello Vietnam ".
Notably, right in the comment section of the article, the female singer wrote: "I love the Vietnamese people. Hoang Sa and Truong Sa belong to Vietnam".
Until this morning (July 24), on Jennie Kim's page, she changed her profile picture with an image of the Vietnamese flag that caught the eye. Attached to that is a line affirming again about the territory of Vietnam: "The Hoang Sa belongs to Vietnam. The Truong Sa belongs to Vietnam. And you, who are you?"
The above act of claiming sovereignty received mixed opinions. However, netizens discovered that this is only a fan-made page, not the official website. Many people think that this may be a move to ease public opinion after the controversy related to the territory of Vietnam. The rest affirmed that the support for the cow's tongue line only comes from the show organizer, BlackPink has never spoken about the above issues.
Previously, the social network was stirred up by the information about the Blackpink concert organizer in Hanoi - IME supporting the "cow's tongue line". IME, full name is IME Entertaiment Group Asia is a multinational enterprise in China. On the main page of IME there is a map of "cow's tongue line" located right at the homepage.
After the information was posted, IME Entertainment's page announced that it was temporarily closed. However, the above information still spread widely and angered Vietnamese fans.
Immediately, the above unit received a "storm of criticism" from netizens. In addition, the majority of the audience simultaneously canceled tickets and announced a boycott of this company as well as the K-pop girl group's show to protect the sovereignty of the country.
There is only 1 week left before Blackpink's concert in Hanoi takes place, but fans still can't rest assured because of many problems.
On July 4, the organizers of the show " Born Pink" announced the official ticket prices at the concert in Hanoi; The number ranges from VND 1.2 million to VND 9.8 million/ticket, divided into 3 different classes including: VIP (the area closest to the stage, where Blackpink can be observed), Platinum (the area in the center of the stage) and CAT (regular tickets with different prices depending on the sitting or standing position). Accordingly, the ticket price of the show is said to be too expensive, but it does not enjoy the same privileges as other concerts.
On July 22, a representative of the Performing Arts Department said that the concerned parties will have a meeting with the Hanoi People's Committee on July 24 about Blackpink's 2 concerts.
Representatives of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Performing Arts, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports... and the Hanoi People's Committee will discuss and come to a final conclusion about Blackpink's two concerts at My Dinh Stadium on July 29 and 30.
This information quickly went viral on social media. The time of the show is very close, but there is still the possibility that Born Pink in Hanoi will be canceled.
Besides, some information about ticket refund also started to spread. The rumor that the organizers only refunded 70% of the ticket price confused the online community. Even the fact that many ticket factions and intermediary ticket sellers may not refund buyers also raise concerns. Many fans who bought tickets from third parties said they were afraid that the seller would "lose" when the show was canceled and no refund was given.
Currently, the organization of the show is still controversial. Up to now, the organizers have not announced the number of seats. Information such as check-in opening hours, stadium map, security entrance... have also not been disclosed.
In recent days, the organizers are rushing to transport materials and equipment to install the stage, technical area, and lighting to prepare for the 2 nights of the show.
Previously, YG Entertainment confirmed, Hanoi will be the group's last stop in Asia within the framework of the Born Pink world tour.
