Before studying abroad, Pham Tuong Lan Thy received a full scholarship worth 280 million VND for 4 years studying Economics in Vietnam. However, Thy decided to go to Japan because she wanted to have experiences in another country.

In my first month in Japan, each week Thy arranges time to go to a new place, experience the culture and cuisine of your country. At the same time, make many new friends.

According to Lan Thy, 4 years studying abroad in Japan helped me have a multi-dimensional perspective on everything. Besides, studying abroad makes Thy become stronger, more independent, proactive from studying, spending to all aspects of life.

"I have to manage my own life as well as my own spending. I'm more confident because I have clear goals. Every day I wake up, I know what I have to do and what I'm trying to pursue," Lan Thy said.

The time away from home also helped Thy appreciate her family affection. That's why, despite receiving many job opportunities in Japan after graduation, Lan Thy decided to return home because she wanted to be near her family. Lan Thy said she is now mature, calm, and thinks about her family and those around her.
