Charming with the sport of golf since childhood

Doan Xuan Khue Minh was born in 2003 in a family whose father is an amateur golfer. This is also the chance that brought her to golf. Her father was the first to teach her how to hold a golf club and let her practice with her.

At the age of 10, Khue Minh and her two children were allowed to learn golf at Hanoi Golf Academy. At first, Doan Xuan Khue Minh only considered this a sport for him to exercise his health, concentration and independence in life. Unexpectedly, after a period of hard training with his father and 2 younger siblings, and under the guidance of teacher Nguyen Thai Duong, Khue Minh became more and more interested in golf and mastered golf techniques.

Every day, after returning home from school, Khue Minh spends about 2 hours practicing golf at Ciputra course. After 3 years of perseverance, Khue Minh has improved and achieved many achievements in youth tournaments such as Hanoi Junior Tour, VJO, VGM Junior Trophy.

With effort, perseverance and natural talent, Khue Minh pearl really shined at the age of 14.

At the selection of athletes to attend the 29th SEA Games in 2017, Khue Minh surprised the Vietnamese golf village by defeating the runner-up of the 2013 National Women's Championship Tran Chieu Duong and becoming the youngest athlete to participate in the 29th SEA Games team at the SEA Games. Malaysia.

The selection of an athlete under the age of 18 to participate in the golf event at the Southeast Asian Games is unprecedented in Vietnamese sports. However, Khue Minh's ability convinced the coaching staff to put their faith in the young girl.

Although he has not achieved good results at the 29th SEA Games, Khue Minh has had a rare experience in the international arena and also affirmed his position in the Vietnamese golf village.

Also in 2017, Doan Xuan Khue Minh got his first and most memorable major title with the championship at the National Amateur Women's Golf Championship. Winning the tournament that year also made her the youngest champion in the tournament's history and to this day no one has broken this record:

Entering 2019, Doan Xuan Khue Minh had a new turning point in his career when he was crowned at the National Amateur Golf Championship (VMC) 2019 and appeared on the World Amateur Ranking for the first time - WAGR . Up to the present time (May 18, 2022), female golfer Khue Minh is ranked 2206 on WAGR.

Not only that, after practicing in Australia, in November 2021 Khue Minh excellently won a scholarship to study and compete for the golf team of Wofford University (USA) at the NCAA Division I sports system - the most prestigious rankings in the competitive system of university competitions across the United States.
