Champion of Street Dance Vietnam in the first season - Dang Quan was born in 2000 in Hanoi, grew up in a family with no artistic tradition but was supported by his mother to follow the path of a dancer. In 2012, Dang Quan and Bao Ngoc attended the first season of Vietnam's Got Talent and were crowned champions at the age of 12 with a prize of 400 million VND.
Not taking advantage of the famous opportunity at the age of 12 to enter the entertainment world, after the competition, Dang Quan continued to study the cultural program at Ly Thuong Kiet Secondary School, Hanoi. In his free time, he participates in performances at events, weddings and takes professional dancing courses to improve his abilities.
Since he was young, Quan has loved street dancing. He can dance to any music, fast or slow. Realizing their son's passion, his parents signed him up for dance classes and supported him in pursuing the path of becoming a professional dancer.
After 4 years of living a secret life, in 2016 Dang Quan re-appeared on television as a contestant in So You Think You Can Dance season 5. As soon as he returned, the new appearance of the once child phenomenon made people wonder. Few people were surprised and was dubbed the "hot boy" of that exam year.
Luck continued to smile on Dang Quan when, through a series of tough competition rounds, he successfully won the title of So You Think You Can Dance Champion that year. Notably, the runner-up in the same year as Dang Quan was none other than Le Hieu, a guy with an equally "huge" profile. Dang Quan and Le Hieu are close to each other in real life and share and sympathize with each other about the pain of losing their mother at a young age. Dang Quan and Le Hieu throughout Street Dance Vietnam often have extremely breathtaking "confrontations" with each other.
By 2022, the Hanoi boy officially returned to the stage as a contestant in the first season of Street Dance Vietnam. This is a competition reserved for Dancers with the best dancing skills in our country. Right from the first days of organization, the contest had heated controversies surrounding the four judges, Trong Hieu, Chi Pu, Kay Tran and Bao Anh.
Street Dance has been a huge success in the hearts of audiences right from the first episodes. And young dancer Dang Quan appeared in episode 2, making the whole hall and 4 judges gasp with his wonderful performance.
After 5 rounds of competition, although at one point he fell into danger but was saved by Thanh Dat and team Chi Pu in the quarter-finals, this young man excellently won the first Street Dance Champion.
With the pressure of having won a previous competition, Dang Quan said marking his dancing journey with those victories is a matter of pride. He has never considered his achievements as pressure; On the contrary, he became more confident about what he did. All he aims for is to continue trying to develop himself and conquer the next milestones.
Besides his handsome appearance, Dang Quan is noted for his ability to choreograph and dance in many genres from Dancesport, Hiphop, Popping to Contemporary... For many years, Dang Quan has mainly taught dancing to children. small and only occasionally performs at entertainment events.
It is no exaggeration to say that Dang Quan is the "golden boy" when competing in all three major competitions: Street Dance Vietnam (2022), So You Think You Can Dance (2016), and Vietnam's Got Talent (2012) all excelled and rose to the top. highest wisdom.
It is known that before coming to Street Dance Vietnam, Dang Quan had "conquered" one of the television shows that attracted a large number of followers at that time - Vietnam's Got Talent.
