"Legless guy" Dinh Khanh's move attracts attention amid the var check scandal

"When we got there, we saw how difficult it was for people, lacking food, water, and belongings, and we couldn't help but feel sad. The three of us tried our best, and the truck delivered most of the goods to the people. Now we will continue to visit and encourage the families whose houses collapsed and who lost loved ones in the afternoon," she shared.

The reason why Dinh Khanh could not go directly to the place to share the difficulties with the people and let his wife go to help was because his health condition did not allow it. However, the "legless man" did not let himself be idle when receiving necessities, classifying and monitoring the process of loading goods onto trucks to be transported to the North.

"The journey to share more than 10 tons of necessities sent to the North last night. More than 30 people supported from morning until late at night without stopping. Sorting clothes, medicine, and necessities into appropriate places. At exactly 10:30 p.m., the truck arrived to pick up the goods but encountered a small problem when the truck was too big to enter the warehouse. It was not until nearly 11 p.m. that the truck was able to back up a bit.

Everyone took carts and motorbikes to carry the goods to the truck 50m away. Although it was a bit difficult, everyone was excited, each person contributing their efforts to help the people in the North. It took more than 30 people nearly 2 hours to finish. It was a bit tiring but everyone was happy," Dinh Khanh updated on his personal page.

He also shared that he has received 10 tons of goods, mostly clothes, blankets, medicine and necessities to send to flood relief. Finally, Dinh Khanh expressed his gratitude to everyone who joined hands to help: "Thank you, brothers and sisters, friends for doing your best for the people and thank you for your efforts and promise to complete the task that the donors trust."

To Dinh Khanh (born in 1993, from Dak Lak, currently living in Ho Chi Minh City) is known and admired by many people through his inspirational story of extraordinary will to live. In 2018, he suffered from a serious illness and had to amputate his legs to save his life.

From a healthy young man with many unfinished dreams, Dinh Khanh suddenly became disabled. It was difficult for him to accept the truth. Furthermore, his family had to bear a large debt due to borrowing money for treatment, making him even more depressed.
