Runner-up Le Phuong Thao revealed the cost of the Miss Contest: More than 600 'tubes' learned skills, dresses, and lost income

Recently, Le Phuong Thao - 1st runner-up of Miss Sports Vietnam had a remarkable share about the cost of investing for herself to enter a Miss contest. In 2022, she also passed the casting round of Miss Universe Vietnam but paused to focus on Miss Sports.

After taking these two exams, Phuong Thao revealed the details of the expenses she had invested:

- Learning communication and behavior including 22 subjects (emotion management, mind management, business and social communication, verbal communication, voice control,...): 300 million VND

- Learn professional MC: 22 million

- Costumes and clothes for challenges and activities: Average 3 million VND/set, including stylist money. A program uses about 20 sets of clothes, takes the exam twice: 120 million VND.

- Final and semi-final evening gown: 20 million VND/time, 40 million VND twice

- Catwalk class Ms. Vo Hoang Yen and Mr. Duc Hien: 38 million dong

- Media photos: 25 million VND/set, 3 sets cost 75 million VND

- Cost of makeup and makeup lessons: 20 million VND

- Wigs: 8 million VND

- Beauty spa before the exam: 20 million VND

- Supplements to improve physical strength during the exam: 3 million VND

However, this is not the final figure. Runner-up Phuong Thao added that because she went to the Miss Universe contest twice, she quit her job for 9 months, which means she lost 9 months of income. Phuong Thao has been in love with modeling for the past 3 years. She said: "The catwalk is a place where I can satisfy my passion for fashion.
