The family is poor, so every meal, Duyen Quynh's sisters often eat wild vegetables and wild mushrooms with rice. There are days when rice runs out, eat wild vegetables except rice.

Once, a thief sneaked into the house on a rainy night, Duyen Quynh was alone at home. She struggled with the thief, was pushed down by him, and scared Duyen Quynh ran to her father's house a few hundred meters away.

Until Duyen Quynh graduated from the Conservatory of Music, she actively asked her parents to attend her graduation ceremony together. At first they reluctantly agreed, but later that day, the two got along and began to talk about their children.

However, it was not until her mother died that Duyen Quynh was closer to her father. The father-son relationship is also so tight. The female singer always tries to take advantage of every possible opportunity to express her filial piety to her birth mother as a way to make up for the disadvantages of childhood.

Growing up in poverty, Duyen Quynh was always conscious of saving money. So much so that, the day Duyen Quynh went to Ho Chi Minh City to study at the Conservatory of Music, her mother gave 900,000 VND each month, which she also saved a lot.

"For a child who never has money for snacks like me, 900,000 VND is too big, so big that I don't dare to spend it, so I always have extra money to spend when I'm sick," Duyen Quynh shared.

Sitting on the school chair, Duyen Quynh participated in mass cultural programs. While going to school and working to support herself, Duyen Quynh also sends money to support her family and treat her mother's illness.

Duyen Quynh said: "I went to Saigon in 2007, both going to school and working. My brothers and sisters are only a few years older than me, so the economy is not stable. I almost share what I have with my family. Until he If you have a little more stable economy, your mother will get sick. I have to work hard to earn money for my mother's medical treatment, so I don't have time to take care of my career."

After graduating from the Conservatory of Music, Duyen Quynh joined the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony and Ballet Theater (HBSO), founded her own choir and group, and wrote music.

After 10 years on the sidelines of showbiz, Duyen Quynh recently participated in the "Love Storyteller" contest 2019 and won the first prize. After that, she continued to win the highest position in the "Shining Double Star" contest with singer Minh Sang. After the contest, Duyen Quynh actively engaged in art activities, participated in many programs and also actively made her own products.

After 15 years of rolling around in Saigon, staying in countless houses across 12 districts, Duyen Quynh bought her first apartment. Even though it's only 40m2 and one bedroom on a bank installment basis, it makes her extremely happy.

Before the exam, I had to pay money to work on the mixing, the costumes. When I got the first prize, they said that I bought the prize, the rich couple, went to the back door. I don't know why it's rumored because I'm new to the profession, I don't quarrel with anyone.

At the age of 33, Duyen Quynh is still single. However, she said, she has met a soulmate. The female singer confided, "Currently, I have someone who loves me and someone I love, but letting it be love is not enough in terms of both feelings and time spent together.
