Specifically, Le Tuan Linh (former Director of Sister Rot Group Joint Stock Company) was sentenced to 3 years and 3 months in prison; Le Thanh Cong (former member of the Board of Directors) was sentenced to 3 years in prison; Nguyen Thi Thai Hang (Hang Du Muc – former Chairman of the Board of Directors), Pham Quang Linh (Quang Linh Vlogs) and Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien were both sentenced to 2 years in prison for the crime of "Deceiving customers". In addition to the prison sentence, all 5 defendants were fined an additional 50 million VND each.

The former Miss also expressed that the initial goal of the project that she participated in with Sister Rod Company was to develop clean agriculture, support ethnic minorities to farm and have stable jobs. Before the opening of the first-instance trial, Thuy Tien took the initiative to ask her family to support paying money to remedy the consequences. Thuy Tien's biological father paid 3.2 billion VND on her behalf. The other defendants also paid money to remedy the damage.

The failure to file an appeal shows that Thuy Tien accepts the judgment of the first-instance court and is about to enter the judgment enforcement process as prescribed.
