Singer Rosé continues to demonstrate her strong influence on the international music market as her collaboration MV with Bruno Mars, APT, officially became the most-viewed music video by a female K-pop artist on YouTube. This new achievement also helps her surpass the record previously set by BLACKPINK with their hit song DDU-DU DDU-DU.
According to data updated in March 2026, the APT music video had reached approximately 2.375 billion views on YouTube, slightly more than the 2.374 billion views of DDU-DU DDU-DU. The difference of only a few million views, while not huge, holds symbolic significance for K-pop. This milestone marks the transition from one of the world's most successful girl groups to a rising female solo artist of the new generation.
The song APT was released on October 18, 2024, serving as the lead single for Rosé's debut studio album, rosie. This project is considered a significant turning point in the singer's career after she left YG Entertainment and Interscope Records in 2023 to move under the management of The Black Label and Atlantic Records.
Upon its release, APT quickly created a massive wave in the global music market.
