After two months of emotional broadcasts, Sing! Asia 2025 officially came to an end with the finale taking place on the morning of July 27. The four outstanding faces participating in the final round of competition include: Phuong My Chi, Chu Phi Ca, Kha Lau and Miyuna.

Not only representing their country, they also bring typical Asian musical colors, creating fierce competition for the title of New King.

Vietnam representative - Phuong My Chi, had an impressive performance with two acts: a duet with singer Hoang Linh and a solo performance of Mot Bo Dua. If the Lac Troi arrangement carries a strong Asian spirit, blending the two cultures of Vietnam and China, then Mot Bo Dua is an emotional performance, spreading a message of connection in contemporary folk identity. Both acts showed Phuong My Chi's remarkable maturity in vocal technique, stage presence and artistic thinking.

Although she did not win the highest position, Phuong My Chi still left a strong impression when she stopped at the top 3 position, only very narrowly behind the other two contestants. This achievement is a testament to the tireless efforts of the female singer born in 2003, and at the same time opened an important milestone for Vietnamese music on the regional map - where the diversity and fierceness of the market requires more than talent.

One of the notable highlights of the competition night was the performance of Lac Troi - a hit song associated with Son Tung's name. Phuong My Chi not only renewed this song with a modern Asian-inspired arrangement, combined with Chinese lyrics performed by singer Hoang Linh, but also showed her professionalism and respect for copyright by proactively contacting the male singer for permission before bringing the song to the international stage.

Accordingly, on their personal page, the DTAP production team shared: "In the first round of the Sing!Asia Finals, DTAP and Phuong My Chi brought a special version of the song Lac Troi, performed for the first time in Vietnamese and Chinese.

The song has been remixed, incorporating Chinese lyrics for Ms. Hoang Linh to perform, as a way to create cultural touchpoints and refresh the experience for international audiences.

Still keeping the original spirit, this remix is developed in a bold Asian direction, both familiar and new, true to the spirit of cross-border exchange that Sing!Asia aims for.
