Born in 1983, Pham Tran Nhat Minh â often called by the nickname "Minh Nhua" â is the Deputy General Director of Long Thanh Plastic Company Limited, where his father â Mr. Pham Van Muoi â holds the position of General Director.
Different from the image of a traditional businessman, Minh Nhua is famous for his lavish lifestyle, especially his collection of supercars, which is among the most expensive in Vietnam. Minh Nhua majored in Foreign Trade at Hung Vuong University.
Minh Nhua was exposed to business from a young age. At the age of 12, he followed his father to interview partners and learned how to "hold a spoon and fork" for the first time in luxury restaurants - the first lessons in how to behave and communicate in the workplace.
Minh did not have an easy birthright from his childhood. He was assigned to work as a porter in the outer warehouse at around 12 noon, going through each department in the company to understand from the bottom up.
After trying his hand at all departments, Minh Nhua was officially promoted to manager and currently holds the position of Deputy General Director, in charge of supply, finance, human resources and production of Long Thanh Plastic.
His family not only inspired him in business, but also nurtured his passion for speed. Mr. Muoi was also a car enthusiast, once driving Minh from Saigon to Da Lat on a motorbike, where Minh loved to sit in front of the gas tank â an experience of a lifetime.
Long Thanh's 405 logo also originates from the Peugeot 405 of racer Ari Vatanen, a symbol of victory in the Dakar race - it is easy to see that the passion for speed is deeply ingrained in the family culture.
Education and career path
Minh Nhua majored in Foreign Trade at Hung Vuong University. Although he did not study abroad like many of his friends, he still took the initiative to learn through training courses at home and abroad. During his university years, he showed his determination to make his own mark instead of staying in the comfort zone of his family.
After graduating, the 9X guy started working at his father's company in a very different way: from porter to HR, accounting, warehouse positions... each place left behind lessons in optimal management and sharp thinking in business. Once he was "left behind" on a delivery truck because his colleagues went out to eat, without complaining, just sat there for more than an hour - a lesson in patience and discipline.
After the training process, Minh Nhua was promoted quickly. In addition to his responsibilities at Long Thanh Plastics, he is also a shareholder with about 19% of shares, possessing significant power and influence on the business development strategy.
Personal life and lifestyle
Minh Nhua has been married twice. His first wife was Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy â they had three children together. However, the marriage ended in divorce and at that time Minh Nhua had self-destructive behavior, but with his sincere attitude and care for his ex-wife later, the family was reconciled and Minh remarried Mina Pham (Pham Thi Hong Nga) in 2011. They had two more children, bringing his total to five.
Not only a car enthusiast, Minh Nhua is also a speedometer fanatic. His collection includes many high-end brands such as Richard Mille "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", Dragon Jackie Chan tourbillon, Patek Philippe Sky Chart... with a total value of up to hundreds of billions of VND.
Passion for speed and supercar collection
Minh Nhua not only plays with cars as a hobby, but is also a person who truly loves speed and car culture. Before deciding to bring cars back to Vietnam, he always goes to the US to test drive and only chooses models that give him a special feeling.
His style of playing cars has two elements: personal economics and genuine emotions.
Up to now, Minh Nhua's garage owns nearly 20 supercars and luxury cars, including:
- Pagani Huayra (2013) â the only one in Vietnam, about 70-80 billion VND.
- Bugatti Veyron â iconic hypercar, driven only a few times.
- Lamborghini Murciélago LP670â4 SV â the only car in Vietnam, he rated the driving feeling and safety as outstanding.
- Ferrari 458 Italia, orange Aventador LP700â4, McLaren 650S Spider Rolls-Royce Ghost, Phantom, the latest "joiner" Cullinan Edition One - he kept the first generation Ghost and just bought Cullinan to celebrate 10 years of playing Rolls-Royce.
There are also Lamborghini Urus, Mercedes-AMG G63, Range Rover Autobiography, Pagani, McLaren Elva ordered at 143 billion VND.
The garage is where he changes cars according to his inspiration. He admits that when he owns many supercars, he often sells the ones that no longer have any emotions to replace them with more special models with more stories.
Car philosophy and personal style
Minh Nhua once shared in an episode of MINHsHOW that he does not play cars to become "the top" or "the best in Vietnam". For him, it is a journey of more than 10 years, enough for people to see the value, not to compare with others: "I do not play cars because I want people to call me the best... When I think I am the best, I will make myself stressed in the game".
He also affirmed: "I'm not the type of person who sees someone playing and has to play more." He only changes cars when he feels compelled or to seek a deeper experience in his car hobby.
He considers himself âalone in the hyper-car hobbyâ, because this hobby is not popular. The media has given him the nicknames âking of speedâ, âVietnamâs top car enthusiastâ, âVietnamâs representative in car playing with the worldâ â but he says that is not a pressure.
The fact that he test drove the car in the US before deciding to import it shows his seriousness, not just buying it to show off. The domestic car enthusiast community recognizes this: he respects the international speed culture.
Position in the community and media influence
Recently, Minh Nhua has been very active on social networks: personal Facebook, YouTube channel "Pham Tran Nhat Minh NM Family" - where he shares about his children, family life, love, fashion style, interests in vehicles and watches.
He has become a symbol of a generation of young, dynamic entrepreneurs who know how to "play seriously" and also "show off sincerely". Supercar events such as the McLaren Elva, Pagani Huayra, Bugatti Veyron exhibitions... often feature his name, attracting strong attention from the media and the car-loving community.
Pham Tran Nhat Minh â Minh Nhua â is a typical symbol of the new generation of entrepreneurs: born into business, tested by reality rather than just by studying, and has enough courage to play any game with true passion. His supercar collection is not only a mark of wealth, but also a journey of self-affirmation, searching for emotions and not comparing with anyone.
He is not only a young master who plays with cars, but also an inspiration to young people that passion needs to be serious, needs experience and always takes self-value as the center. In each car, each watch, there is a story of a journey - from a child sitting next to a motorbike's gas tank to a businessman behind the wheel of a million-dollar supercar, still maintaining a calm demeanor and a sophisticated way of playing.
