Recently, Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien's mother unexpectedly returned to social media and quickly attracted the attention of the online community. However, not long after, the beauty queen's mother announced she would be going away for a while.
During her live streams, the mother of beauty queen Thuy Tien focused solely on promoting products for affiliate marketing, skillfully avoiding any questions related to her daughter. According to her, life has gradually become more stable; she lives alone and has to work to earn money to support her children.
However, in her latest video, Thuy Tien's mother unexpectedly made an announcement that left many people bewildered. Although she had previously said she would regularly livestream to sell products every day to earn income to support herself, she announced that she would be completely stopping this activity and "retiring" for a while.
Sharing her feelings with a choked voice in front of the camera, Thuy Tien's mother said: "Honestly, I'm going away for a while tomorrow. I won't be livestreaming, I won't be meeting anyone, and you won't see me anywhere. It could be 2, 3, or 5 months, or until little Tien returns. I'm not going to a temple, but I'll be in hiding for a while."
This post quickly spread on social media, sparking a flurry of questions from netizens. Many wondered why, just as her livestreaming sales were becoming stable, Thuy Tien's mother suddenly chose to disappear from social media. Some expressed concern, while others suggested she might be under too much pressure from public opinion and wanted to temporarily withdraw to regain her mental stability.
During the livestream, Thuy Tien's mother also revealed more information about the beauty queen's younger brother for the first time, surprising many. According to her, Thuy Tien has a half-brother. Her mother said that she has always been the one to cover all of the boy's tuition and living expenses.
She shared frankly: "Now that Tien is taking care of me, I'll just have to spare some time to take care of him, because Tien isn't obligated to take care of him. If Tien doesn't take care of me now, I'll have to take care of myself and him myself. I'll set aside a little money to take care of my mother and my son, because if I abandon him now, he won't be able to go to school at all."
These heartfelt words partly reveal the economic burden that Thùy Tiên's mother is facing. Previously, Thùy Tiên shared about her childhood, which was filled with emotional deprivation as her parents divorced early, when she was only 4 years old. After that, she lived with her grandmother and younger sister, with her parents only visiting occasionally and giving her money. The beauty queen admitted to crying a lot because of the feeling of lacking the care and love of her parents throughout her childhood years.
Upon entering university, Thùy Tiên chose to live independently and become completely self-reliant. She took on various jobs to make ends meet, from receptionist, makeup model, photographer, and English teaching assistant, sometimes earning only a few tens of thousands of dong per session. These experiences contributed to shaping Thùy Tiên's strength and resilience later in life.
After winning the beauty pageant and becoming famous, Thùy Tiên didn't hesitate to use the money she earned to take care of her parents and relatives. She covered most of the family's living expenses. Therefore, when Thùy Tiên became embroiled in personal controversies and stopped appearing and working as before, her family, especially her mother, faced even greater difficulties.
Thuy Tien's mother sells goods to make a living, and Quang Linh entrusted her to his older sister.
