The remaining 80% of the value of this property will be divided equally among the three heirs. Ms. A. also expressed her desire to receive the in-kind house to continue living, and at the same time will pay back the corresponding value to the wife and children of the late actor Duc Tien according to the divided proportion.
Not only that, the late actor's biological mother also filed an additional counterclaim, asking the court to divide more assets as Duc Tien's house in the US and request to receive 50% of the value of this house. However, the People's Court of Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City affirmed that overseas assets are not within the scope of settlement by Vietnamese courts, so they do not accept this content.
Currently, the case has not been tried due to the postponement of the trial, causing the public to continue to follow with many questions surrounding the legality of the will made in the US and the inheritance rights of each member of the late actor Duc Tien's family.
