Hoang Duc wins the 2025 Golden Ball, Dinh Bac's statement attracts attention.

Unable to attend the Ben Thanh Theater due to his commitments with the Vietnam U23 team in Qatar for training, Nguyen Dinh Bac shared his feelings on his personal Facebook page upon learning that he had won the 2025 Vietnam Silver Ball award.

The 2025 Vietnam Golden Ball Awards ceremony concluded with the announcement of the five finalists: Nguyen Tien Linh, Nguyen Hoang Duc, Nguyen Quang Hai, Nguyen Dinh Bac, and Tran Trung Kien. These are all outstanding figures in Vietnamese football over the past year, accurately reflecting the voting landscape and presenting little surprise to experts or fans alike.

Among the candidates, Nguyen Dinh Bac stands out as a particularly noteworthy player. The striker, born in 2004, has made remarkable progress in 2025, and is considered on par with Nguyen Hoang Duc and far superior to many more experienced senior players. Previously associated with a strong personality, Nguyen Dinh Bac has transformed himself into a key player for the Vietnam U22 team, making a significant contribution to their SEA Games 33 gold medal win with 3 goals and 2 assists in 4 matches.

Not stopping there, in May, Nguyen Dinh Bac continued his success with the Vietnam U23 team, winning the Southeast Asian U23 Championship. He was personally awarded the "Best Player of the Tournament" title, thus affirming his status as a rising star of Vietnamese football at the youth level and raising many expectations for the future of the national team.

At the club level, Nguyen Dinh Bac also had a successful season with Hanoi Police FC. He played a major role in helping the police team win a double title: the 2024/2025 National Cup and the 2025 National Super Cup. In addition, CAHN finished as runners-up in the V.League and qualified for the knockout round of the AFC Champions League 2. Nguyen Dinh Bac's arrival brought a fresh perspective to the team, creating a strong emotional impact whenever he was on the field.

Despite being highly regarded, Nguyen Dinh Bac had to settle for second place in the 2025 Vietnam Golden Ball race and won the Silver Ball award. The most prestigious award went to Nguyen Hoang Duc. Due to his commitments with the Vietnam U23 team traveling to Qatar for training, Nguyen Dinh Bac was unable to attend the awards ceremony in person at the Ben Thanh Theater in Ho Chi Minh City. However, immediately after learning the results, he shared heartfelt words of gratitude on his personal Facebook page.
