The Philippine beauty pageant community is in shock following the news that Miss Lullete Jane Ramilo-De Guzman was murdered in front of her home. Beauty pageant fans and the public are devastated and awaiting the police's conclusion.
The Philippine Daily Inquirer confirmed that the incident occurred in Barangay Cabaritan, Philippines. According to initial police reports, the victim, 32-year-old Ramilo-De Guzman, was shot in the face and side while sitting in her car. She was taken to Manuel Roxas District Hospital in Roxas Township but was pronounced dead at the scene due to her severe injuries.
At the time of the shooting, Ramilo-De Guzman was in the car with her children. Her father had just gotten out of the car to open the gate when a gunman on a motorcycle with no license plate suddenly approached and fired multiple shots at the victim. The perpetrator then immediately fled eastward, along the highway in District 3 of the town. The entire incident unfolded quickly but left the family in profound shock.
Fortunately, Ramilo-De Guzman's three children were unharmed. However, witnessing their mother's murder firsthand undoubtedly left them with deep psychological trauma. Many expressed outrage that the incident took place in front of young children, considering it a cruel and inhumane act.
Major Rogelio Natividad said investigators are considering several possible motives for the attack, including personal conflict, work-related issues, or other reasons. "We still don't have any clear clues about the motive or the suspect. We are processing the evidence and conducting further investigations," he said. Authorities are currently awaiting results from the forensic lab to determine the type of firearm used in the attack.
Mr. Natividad also called on local residents to cooperate and provide information about suspicious individuals to assist in the investigation and prevent similar incidents. The fact that the perpetrator used a motorcycle without license plates suggests that the suspect may have prepared in advance, raising concerns about the premeditated nature of the attack.
The victim's boyfriend, Clifford Dela Cruz, was attending a conference in Manila when the shooting occurred. Upon receiving the tragic news, he immediately returned home. On his personal Facebook page, Dela Cruz expressed his grief and outrage over his girlfriend's death, condemning the murder that took place in front of their children. He suggested that some people may have been angered by Ramilo-De Guzman's recent active involvement in anti-bullying activities.
Before the tragedy, Lullete Jane Ramilo-De Guzman was a prominent figure in the Philippine beauty pageant scene. She won Miss San Manuel and then secured the runner-up title at Miss Earth Philippines 2013. During that season, she also received several other awards, making an impression as an intelligent and dynamic beauty queen.
Beyond her beauty, Ramilo-De Guzman also pursued a serious academic career. She graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education from the University of Perpetual Help System Laguna (Laguna-Isabela campus). Those who have met her describe her as friendly, actively involved in community activities, and particularly interested in social issues related to children and education. The case is still under investigation.
Miss Mina Sue became a "hero," single-handedly "saving" the entire flop show.
Trần Mạn21:17:46 15/02/2026The success of the fifth season of the show "Single's Hell" cannot be attributed solely to the efforts of beauty queen Mina Sue, whose moments and controversial statements sparked public debate and garnered significant attention for the program.
