After causing controversy for siding with artist Hong Phuong and her daughter in accusing Hong Loan of not living a fulfilling life, Ms. Hien recently reappeared and continued to make excuses that attracted public attention.
Previously, Ms. Dieu Hien was heavily criticized for allegedly pushing the relatives of artist Vu Linh out of the house after the artist passed away. Not only that, she was also suspected of receiving financial support from Bich Tram and Ms. Kim Loan - Hong Loan's adoptive mother - to "speak up" to put pressure on the daughter of the late artist Vu Linh. Many opinions said that the appearance of Dieu Hien at that time only made the internal conflict in the family more tense.
It seemed like the noise had died down, but recently, Ms. Dieu Hien unexpectedly visited the home of artist Hong Phuong and her daughter to explain. In the posted video, she confirmed that her previous statements had been edited and edited, causing public misunderstanding. She said she was not familiar with social media so she had to go directly to Hong Phuong's house to ask for help posting a correction.
"I don't hate Hong Loan. I'm just angry that somehow we have to deal with her so that we can get along again. That's what I mean, I don't have any grudge against her," said Mrs. Hien.
She also denied the information that she was hired by Hong Phuong and her son to stand on their side: "Some people online said that Hong Phuong and her son hired me. You know, I was very depressed when I found out that the person who stabbed me was Quoc Thanh."
During the conversation, Ms. Dieu Hien recalled the story of Ms. Kim Loan visiting and giving me money many times: "That day, Ms. Kim Loan came to visit me and gave me 10 million. It wasn't the first time. When I was still in the old nursing home, she also came several times and each time gave me 7 million, 5 million." She said that this amount of money was completely personal help, without any request or purpose.
According to Ms. Hien, when she heard Ms. Kim Loan was sad because her appearance was criticized, she said a few words of comfort, but unexpectedly, she was attacked by some young people on social networks: "She told me that they said I looked like an electric pole. Was what I said right? I had to comfort her so she wouldn't be sad and could continue her business. Was what I said wrong? And yet, children who were my grandchildren's age jumped in to say bad things about me."
She also sent a message to Hong Loan, saying that if 50% of Vu Linh's assets could be divided among the remaining relatives, all disputes would soon be resolved. According to her, "peace is the most valuable thing" is what should be done to prevent further family conflicts.
Affirming that this will be the last time she speaks up about the recent scandal, Ms. Dieu Hien said she will silently endure all criticism from now on.
In the clip, singer Hong Phuong, sitting next to Dieu Hien, also spoke up to defend her: "If you hire this woman, you will never be able to hire her. Only love and loyalty can help these things. Everyone, Ms. Hien is old but she speaks with a very clear demeanor. She says what she means, not whatever she wants to say."
Although Ms. Dieu Hienâs explanations have partly shown her desire to clarify the issue, public opinion is still divided. Some believe that her constant appearance is making the story of artist Vu Linhâs family more complicated. Meanwhile, others believe that her speaking out is her personal right, especially when she believes she has been misunderstood.
