Den Vau spoke up: Denying all management roles
In recent days, the Raise Me Project â a charitable organization aimed at supporting lunches for highland students, founded in 2014 â has received special attention from the public after information that raised questions related to transparency. Notably, this project was widely spread thanks to the song "Cooking for Em" by Den Vau.
By the afternoon of December 7, in the face of the non-stop noise, Den Vau officially spoke up to clarify his role. The male rapper affirmed unequivocally that he and his team are just strong sponsors, with the sole desire to take care of meals for children in the highlands.
The notice stated: "Black is not the founder, does not manage, participate in the operation or decide the budget of the Raising Em project". This assertion is intended to clearly separate Den Vau's role from the controversial management and financial activities of the project.
Revenue from "Cooking for You": 100% for charity
Regarding the sales of the song "Cooking for Em", the song is considered one of the music products with the greatest community significance in Den Vau's career, the male rapper clearly explained the use of the proceeds.
Den Vau publicly stated that 100% of the proceeds from the song are for charity activities. However, he also clarified that this money not only supports the Raising Children Project but also goes to other social programs implemented by the State and departments.
This is an important piece of information to help the audience feel secure about the purpose of using the money from the song. Den Vau said he felt sad by the information that was happening but called on everyone to calmly wait for the official conclusion.
Hoang Hoa Trung committed: Ready to be transparent
Before Den Vau's announcement and the questions of the sponsors (MTQ), Hoang Hoa Trung â the founder of the Raising Em Project â also posted an official announcement on the afternoon of December 7.
With the spirit of transparency and responsibility, Founder Cuong Em confirms that he is ready to provide the most public, clear and complete information to the community. He said the project is urgently conducting a meeting with key members to check and collate information.
Hoang Hoa Trung's announcement also invites the community to send questions and give goodwill suggestions so that the project can respond overall on the evening of the same day (22h), committing to answer all detailed information. This voice is to reassure the public and show the Founder's responsibility for the questions being raised.
The song "Cooking for Em" was once composed by Den Vau with the purpose of "when there are cases where there is no adopter, the children continue to be adopted, there is no need to wait for someone to adopt again". After the song was released, Hoang Hoa Trung once shared that more than 30,000 children have been adopted, showing the strong spillover impact of this product.
