A former Miss Universe 2025 judge has made a shocking accusation, asserting that the Top 30 list was pre-selected and the results of the Top 15 and the coronation were fake, not based on the scores of the official Jury.
Immediately after the Miss Universe 2025 Finale took place in Bangkok on the morning of November 21, international public opinion was stirred by the news that Fatima Bosch â the representative of Mexico â was officially crowned. Although this was the proud fourth crown for Mexico, the victory of this 25-year-old girl was quickly covered by suspicions of "match-fixing" from the person involved: the famous French-Lebanese composer, Omar Harfouch.
Public Accusation: The Business Relationship Behind the Crown
Omar Harfouch, who was invited to be an official judge of the contest, caused a storm on social media when he posted a series of shocking posts on his personal Instagram account with 1.2 million followers.
"Miss Mexico's victory was fraudulent," Omar declared bluntly.
Just 24 hours before the finale, in an exclusive on HBO America, Mr. Harfouch predicted: "Miss Mexico will be crowned because the owner of Miss Universe, Raúl Rocha, is doing business with Fátima Bosch's father."
According to Omar, a week earlier in Dubai, he was urged by the President of Miss Universe, Raúl Rocha, and his son to vote for Fátima Bosch on the grounds that "it would be good for their business."
To back up his accusations, the musician posted an intimate photo allegedly taken between the Mexican beauty and President Raúl Rocha, along with the open question: "Do you know who these people are?". The post immediately attracted huge public attention, prompting many beauty fans to beg him to reveal more of the truth.
Audience Backlash at the Final Night
Not only stopping at the accusation of fixing, Omar Harfouch also posted a video recording the reaction of the audience present at the Miss Universe final. In the clip, many people booed and expressed clear dissatisfaction with the final result, showing that the controversy took place not only on social networks but also right on the Miss Universe stage in Bangkok.
Continuing to push the accusation, Mr. Harfouch asserted: "The Top 30 were pre-selected, the results of the Top 15 and the winner were fake, not the results that the Jury had chosen."
Unexpected Withdrawal Because "Top 30 Was Already Selected"
Before withdrawing from his role as a judge, Omar Harfouch was present in Thailand very early and was considered a bridge when he posted a photo of meeting President Raúl Rocha and Mr. Nawat, Miss Universe Thailand Production Director, and revealed that he helped the two reconcile after conflicts arose during the contest.
However, on November 18, Omar made a shocking announcement about his departure from the judging panel. The reason he gave was that he discovered that the list of Top 30 contestants had been "pre-selected" by "an impromptu judging panel" without any of the 8 official judges participating.
When he reported this to the President of Miss Universe, Mr. Harfouch said he did not receive a satisfactory answer. Shortly after, the Organizing Committee of the contest posted a series of photos introducing the Beyond the Crown category panel on November 17, explaining that this was a separate voting section to recognize the contestants' community projects, implicitly denying Omar's accusation.
Vietnamese delegation went to Thailand to cheer for Huong Giang in the MU final, causing chaos in the waiting room.
An Huy16:41:58 21/11/2025Although the results were not as expected, an unprecedented story in the history of Vietnamese beauty was written, which was the enthusiastic support of a group of Vietnamese artists, Influencers and audiences right on the international stage.
