Despite being divorced, singer Dan Truong and businessman Thuy Tien still maintain a civilized relationship, taking care of and raising Thien Tu's son together and often sharing memorable milestones in the baby's adult journey.
After more than 4 years of divorce, Dan Truong and businessman Thuy Tien still maintain a harmonious relationship, taking care of their son Thien Tu (born in 2017). Thanks to his parents' civilized upbringing, the boy enjoyed a comprehensive education, both full of affection and early training in financial management skills. At the age of 8, Thien Tu surprised many people when he owned up to three separate companies, operating in the fields of fashion, cuisine and services. In particular, the first company was founded in 2019, when the boy was only two years old.
By 2023, the businesswoman will continue to expand her "empire" for her son with a pastry shop in Cambodia. This project is not only business but also humane, because the store prioritizes recruiting orphans and disadvantaged children to help them have stable jobs and be able to support themselves.
In 2024, Thien Tu will continue to be entrusted by her mother to try her hand in the field of service with a chain of coffee shops in the US, headquartered in San Jose (California). More interestingly, the boy used to work as a waitress himself to experience the reality of work. Up to now, the coffee chain has expanded to 3 establishments and is operating stably.
Thuy Tien once shared about the reason for setting up a business for her son: "Thien Tu knew that those companies were set up for Thien Tu to manage later. Perhaps because I work in the financial field, I always hope that my children will soon know how to manage and understand the value of labor and assets. But the deeper purpose is for you to practice independence and responsibility."
Not only is Thien Tu heavily invested in finance, but Thien Tu is also focused on comprehensively developing skills and knowledge by her mother. Having lived abroad since childhood, he is fluent in English and Vietnamese, and can also communicate in Spanish and Chinese â a rare ability at elementary school age.
From the age of 2, Thien Tu has learned foreign languages, participated in gifted classes and sports activities. The subjects that the boy loves are all "aristocratic" sports such as golf, horseback riding, besides his passion for singing, dancing, and playing the piano.
On November 1, Thien Tu surprised the audience in Vietnam when he appeared in Dan Truong's live concert and performed the song "Rise For You" â the first song in his career. This is a song composed by Thuy Tien's mother herself for her son to sing to his father.
The businesswoman emotionally shared: "Dad sang for life, for the audience and for Thien Tu, in the live concert of Dan Truong's father, Thien Tu also wanted to sing a separate song for Dad. Rise For You carries the message: 'I will always try, always strive for my father. No matter how difficult it is ahead, I will never stop moving forward - for my dreams and my father's.'"
Previously, when talking about the decision to divorce, Thuy Tien once admitted to being worried about her son but still believed in his strength: "Thien Tu is a strong and independent son. There is also the care and love of everyone around me, so Tien believes that in the future, Thien Tu will understand and sympathize with the decision of Tien and Mr. Truong."
